Just for reference, my iMac i3 - base with 5GB RAM @ 1066 scored 5565 on the 32bit version.

It's a pity I received my computer with "1GB bonus" which turned out to be slower than the others and thus slows down the entire system. There has been only 1 occasion I needed that extra GB when I did the initial time machine back up.

Mates, having seen your scores I think my machine is quite up to any job the today's software may do.

take the "bonus" GB out of there.

the things people will do for a higher number to post onto the internet.
does geekbench have any other use?

your mbp is still the same. :p

It's no different than people running dyno tests to see how capable their car is. Let us geek out will ya?

This post disgusts me; only because my high end 2010 MBP with a GB score of 6600 now gets smoked by a 13" MBP.

Does it do what you need it to do? If so, don't let our "size" difference intimidate you. :p

What is the name of this photo, and can you explain it? Reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy. I love it. Do you have a higher resolution version?

does this work out better for you?

2011 2.2 quad i7 15" AG 8gb/128ssd (stock) 10,162

No clue what that means, but I figure'd I'd share.

Stock: 10937

8GB Upgrade: 11118

Not a big difference with ram upgrade, but I doubt this synthetic tests this much. More about speed than capacity. Also my SSD doesn't boost the speed much. The thing boots and loads every app in my dock (4 CS5 apps, Office, iTunes, Mail, iCal, App Store, Twitter, Transmit, Coda, Text Wrangler) in less than 25 seconds. Everyone in my design class is drooling over it, lol.
