I changed phones and lost some of my exercise rings, now I have to start completely over again . This is the second time this has happened . I was trying to go for consecutive months of all activities completed. I was up to 5. So annoying. Not motivated to start again.

I'm so careful whenever needing to backup and restore a phone for whatever reason just because of activity data. Really wish it would sync to iCloud. I can understand the concern with privacy data around health, but even just activity & workouts should be fine. Of all things it really wouldn't bother me if someone saw my workouts.

I did the same thing yesterday. I installed a JB mod that somehow made my watch stop syncing to my 6S. I haven't completed the exercise ring in a few weeks but I always complete the other two every day. The only way to get my phone back to recognizing my watches again was to restore my last backup which was from April. I did and that was before I ever used any watches with my 6S. I still have my JB obviously on the 6S and it recognizes the watches again so all is well

I went back to using my 6S+ yesterday but I have a week where I have nothing recorded on the 6S+ since I was using my watches on the 6S last week.

I haven't been out walking since the Saturday before mothers day. Just haven't been motivated so I haven't completed all three since that Saturday through exercise. I did complete all three two days last week two days in a row simply by working at my job but now they are gone on the 6S.

Not worth posting my rings.

As for the Mothers day award, the stupid app gave me the award when I simply switched watches and so I lost the motivation to go out walking that day and every day since.

You should be backing up. I and many have changed iPhones several times without a loss of any data.

To clarify: You should be backing up with password protected backups. If you don't set a password, the backup doesn't contain health data. I found that out after a year.

All iCloud backups contain Health data and iTunes CLEARLY states that you must encrypt for Health data. For safety and security you should be doing both. You can NEVER have too much backup.

"Clearly" isn't the word I'd use for small, light-colored text. Just sayin'. ;)

I was doing that, the phone and watch lost connection . I had completed all my rings on watch but it was not communicating with phone. So couldn't back up. Called Apple, they said nothing could be done and had me reset watch.

Haven't been in this thread for a bit. I've been on a good streak, filled the rings for the past 3 months. Though had some time zone changes screw up some of my standing hours.

Good job and only 26 to go to pass me, so keep it up.:D A little OT but why do you have your iPhone in Low Power Mode?

I knew that I was going to be without access to a charger later in the day. I wasn't really too worried about running out of battery, but wanted to make sure IF I did need the phone it would have some juice left. God forbid I not have access to a phone for any period of time! :)

27 but Apple is trying to deny me. Not sure what happened to the 7th data but it was clearly completed.

^Damn that sucks! Was it not showing the rings closed for a while or just at the end of the month it happened?

Coming up to a year...

I had perfect every day until I had an operation this time last year and lost all my streaks for two weeks :(
