what does it matter if it serves its purpose

If its a high quality fake, and he got an awesome deal on it, then why should it matter? I agree with you, it serves its purpose and saved the guy some money. Now, I don't agree with piracy, but I also don't agree with a $125 iPhone bumper. Who in their right mind would buy one of those for full price? The only thing I can think of is to be a complete showoff with too much money. Getting one of these high quality fakes just means those people who bought a legit one wasted their money.

The only thing that would make these fake Vapor cases legit is if they changed their name. Call it something their own and boom, Element themselves gets screwed.

Would love to have that background...and I recognize that dorm (stayed there freshman year)!

I'll get the background to you later tonight, and you couldn't have stayed in that dorm freshman year haha. It's college hill suites for upperclassmen only ;)

Oh I did, thanks to transferring in 30 credits and having a creepy roommate at Jones. All I had to do was ask, lol

Lol Jones is awful other than having the Galley right there. That's where I have to stay for summer session I think.

like mine!!!

My main case

I have the same case...but in black...is yours rigid or gummy?
Mine is gummy, and is nice except for the fact that when I put it inside and outside my pockets..it slips away most of the times!!!
I was looking for the same case..but rigid:confused:

$8 for the bumper. <3 eBay.

And, BestSkinsEver. :)

I LOVE best skins ever, used them on all of my Android devices before coming over to iphone. I always felt they offered great protection on my old phones; I would drop them constantly and never a scratch or crack.

I was skeptical though if the BSE would be ample enough protection for the iphone though...as it's so fragile what with the glass EVERYWHERE lol. But I really am a fan of the naked look, so a protective skin is the perfect solution imo.

soft, I prefer that actually.

Took Sylon's advice and picked up am Incipio Le Deux case for 25 bucks on eBay. Great case/fit and it is nice that it comes with 2 screen protectors.

Anyone know if therer are slim clear gel cases, the ones on ebay are hard case and the gel ones have this diamond patterns at back.

The reason for the patterns is to prevent watermarking. I've purchased non-patterned ones before (back when the iP4 came out...don't remember seeing any recently) and they watermark like crazy.

Nice, how do you like it so far?

I've never had anything but bad luck with those damn screen protectors. In fact, when I pulled the screen protector from its...um...protector or wrapper, lol, and was about to attach it to my squeaky clean iPhone screen, the screen protector itself attracted all the dust in the air and became unusable. The static cling that it uses to attach itself to the phone also attracts dust that happens to be in the air.

I still believe that unless you are in a dust-free medical laboratory, getting these things perfect is impossible.

So far it is awesome!
I see what you mean about the screen protector, little bit of dust got under so I gotta change it or just not use one anymore. It is my first screen protector ever on an iPhone, pretty convinced the screen protectors are not needed:D

I never understood how so many people have this same problem. I get 2 or 3 dust particles at the most and its easily resolved with some scotch tape. I don't use the shower method. I generate a lot of dust too... But I do keep my house somewhat clean. At least dust off the tabletop are sitting at where you are applying the film. I've applied films to 2 iPods, 1 itouch, all 5 of my iPhones, my iPad, and an android and had little trouble with dust and bubbles.

Peeling off the entire screen protector is not a smart idea. The way to do it is to peel about 1/3 of the backing off and place it on the phone/align it. Then slowly peel the rest of the backing off, placing the protector on the phone. I've done literally 50 phones like this, and not once have I had dust.

Just a side note. Did my first Zagg install on my phone the other day. Turned out awesome.
