Looks awesome! What kind of Dock-style/modifications is that? Looks like your applications is divided into groups.

You can add empty spaces in your dock by entering a code in Terminal, or you can just download the free application 'Superdocker'. It will let you add these spaces as well without having to enter any commands and it has a few other features as well :)
 
This is great [= do any other pictures like Facebook do anything, or would that be too much awesome for one desktop?
On my desktop they do not, but, I guess nothing is impossible, might even be doable with geektool. :) Great idea though.
