Logitech hasn't came out with a remote that includes support for the PS3 as it uses Bluetooth and not IR. I've been holding out for a new remote for that exact reason.
Thanks! I'll probably get one when I have all the proper equipment; for now Im ok with the tv controller and the amp one.

hmm, should have spent some of those bucks on a nicer bedspread
Looks cool, but maybe you should have some things to do in the public areas of the house rather than have it all in your room? Do you ever see your family?
my parents were convinced i would never come out of my room if i had a TV in my room... in retrospect, they were right... and I'm glad i'm not a slave to my TV.
Here is my bedroom, which is where I do most of my media watching.
Sony Trinition 30" 30HS420
Yamaha RX-V650
XBOX 360 + HD-DVD Drive
PlayStation 3
budget speakers that I spent about $225 for all five.
Some pictures, taken with my super wide Sigma 10-20mm @ 10mm.
A couple of overall shots (yes my desk is messy, I will deal with that tomorrow):
Super wide shot of the TV and media and consoles:
And a slightly better of the media (I suppose I could have used my faster lens on this shot...)
Uhm they have a blutooth one from ps that works good and is nice since it goes with the system
The reason I have all this in my room is because when it was in the Family Room, I never got to use it, since my brother was always hogging the TV.hmm, should have spent some of those bucks on a nicer bedspread

Pretty much how it is, I bought my dad a 46" HD rear projection CRT and I took the Trinition, I bought most of the movies we have, so my parent don't mind too much that I have a small part of the collection in the room.lol his parents are probably like my parents dont care about media tv + dvd and there set but in my house we shalll be getting a big tv in the basement just for those reasons i think + ps3 bluray etc hd
That is an HDTV....why the xbox hd player with no hd tv?
so thats what u play ur ps3 on? interesting i hooked mine up to my 20" lg wide monitor but only get 720p but thats way better than 420
.... i shall post mine up soon.
Here's what I have in the living room. 55" Sony, Onkyo 705, JBL E80s + EC35 in the front (80s are bi-amped) and Polk 40s in the back (not pictured). Wii, Airport Express, cd changer, upscaling dvd player, Harmony 880 remote. The receiver runs too hot where it is now; need to buy/build a separate component shelf.
Ignore the hideous curtains and rug

Just for fun, picture of the back of the receiver.

Yah.... and I must say, Metal Gear Solid + HDTV + Fancy sound = holy effin sh*t.! Seriously, when you get pretty much addicted and stare in deep concentration into the screen, have the speakers way up loud and a stupid thing jumps behind you (in the game OFC) and makes a rumbling sound, you'll poop your pants; one of the Boss's in the game [Laughing Octopus] does that haha (I jumped "out of my seat" hahah)
As for the 720p versus 1080p fight; meh, I get 720p and it looks as good (in 32inch) as my cousin's 6 month newer Toshiba HDTV. For movies, games, still pics and others, I guess the panel resolution won't matter that much under 47", but if you're gonna use it as a computer display then the higher res the better (but then again you'll find better displays @ higher res for less dough, smaller though, for computers)

Coffee tables and coffee table hacks always seem to work for cheap.
