lol u won't have any tv heat issue. is it a security monitor?
btw impressive AV rack.
cheers!:D

Actually that little monitor is simply what is displayed in the theater on the projector.

The rack was built by me using 2x2 MDF and a lot of threaded rods, nuts and washers for a cost of about $100 (the hardware was the most).

Wow quite impressive. Oh and yeah, don't expect to post all that stuff w/out details and not receive replies asking for details; which I will. TV, speakers and AV equipment, please haha :D

Sorry, didn't mean to tease. Have to check when I get home as I don't remember by heart all of the models. Will post it tonight.

Is it still a home theater if we haven't gotten a surround sound setup yet?

Current setup (including new stuff not pictured):

-Sony KDL-40XBR4 40" 1080p LCD
-Nintendo Wii
-Sony PlayStation 3 (for Blu-ray movies - don't even own a game)
-HD cable DVR box (Oooh. Lost and House episodes are so perdy on it!)

Pretty sweet.

I'll post mine once I finish setting everything up in my dorm room on Saturday.

I just got a new 40" Samsung and I want a PS3 but I definitely only want one for Blu-Ray.

Is the 40" for your bedroom?

a VCR why

Because he probably has some movies that are still on tapes. Can you give us a reason not to have one if you still had the tapes?

I dont watch movies on tape i just get the DVD even if i have them on tape already

Especially for a 120" screen Quality on DVD or Blu-ray will be so much better

Where'd you get that TV stand? I'm looking for a lower stand for my 42" TV - the stand it's on right now is 30" tall which makes the top of my over 5 feet tall.

Maybe... He wants to watch his movies on tape?

Nostalgia? :p

Yup, I think I've used it at least ONCE a year. Last year it was to watch the instructional video to install my garage door (in actual size :) ) The year before was when some friends visited and brought a video of a Halloween party I had 10 years ago.

Ya never know when you'll need it I guess, plus I had it so what was I do to with it, throw it away?? I even have a spare (it used to be in the family room setup but with no space in the stand I just put it in storage).

Hmm niice looking man. Also, hows that Quintet III system? There's a slight chance my parents decide to remodel/rebuild the TV-room to make it a fancy home theatre (probably not with audio, but with decor and such) so I'm looking for something small and "good sounding" and since I own Klipsch Reference speakers I assume their smaller line will sound quite good. Also what's the regular price of such setup (with the sub 10) thanks.
