Oh my God... According to the voters, the next Generation iMacs will be released in a few hours! I hope they're right!

Well, there goes May 15th. With each potential date that goes by my hopes for a redesign go up. I'd love to see a redesign of both the iMac and Mac Pro. If that happens I'll get one of each. I have a feeling I'll be getting two iMacs though (R.I.P Mac Pro).

Lets get the information rolling again... No real changes at Apple stores even though a poster in another thread that claims to be working at an Apple store, sais that an Update is imminent, and that they cant get new shipments.

With all the new rumors coming in these days, the release cant be far off.

I expect a campus pressconfrence with short notice within the next few weeks. Whats your guess?

The US Apple online refurb store just exploded with stock. They had only base CTO iMacs earlier today, but now I am seeing 6 different config options. They were out of Mac Minis entirely and now offer quite a few 2010 and 2011 options, including 2011 servers with SSDs.

I don't know what this means with regard to the refresh, because in flat honesty I can't remember whether this happens before refreshes! But it's more info than we had a few hours ago.

Just thought we should have a place to gather all the info on slipping iMac shipping dates. It might be tomorrow (1. may) or much later, but lets keep updating this thread when we notice changes:) But lets keep talk about specifications and anything else not related to shipping dates off this thread.

Current :apple:Store iMac Status 17/5: (BTO are based on 27" with CPU upgrade)

US: In stock (BTO 1-3 business days) (no changes)
UK: In stock (BTO 1-3 business days)
DE: In stock (BTO 1-3 business days)
DK: Shipping in 1-2 days (BTO 1-3 business days)
SE: Shipping in 1-2 days (BTO 1-3 business days)
AU: In stock (BTO 1-3 business days)
NL: Shipping in 1-2 days (BTO 1-3 business days)
AT: In stock (BTO 1-3 business days)
CA: In stock (BTO 2-4 business days)

Others:
Amazon.com: In stock (not much movement in stock - little sale)
BestBuy: In stock also Canada
Amazon.co.uk: (not much movement in stock - little sale)
elgiganten.dk: all model out of stock (restocking dates between 25/5 and 8/6 -2012 on all models)
elgiganten.se: In stock - but low numbers, 1 out of stock no new arrival-date
Komplett.se: few In Stock
Argos,UK: some out of Stock (not updated)
Webhallen.com: mostly out of Stock (not updated)

Updating from posts but only 27" iMac:)

There is again some movement in shipping times at apple stores, especially denmark, sweden and the netherlands are interesting. If some of the other apple stores follow within the next days, it might a release before WWDC.

Hoping for a on-campus press meeting being called at the latest friday;)

Try checking out your 3rd party reseller, seems like stock is low or gone.

I checked Amazon for 27" imacs and the stock ranged from Hurry Only 2-5 left

Also apple online store BTO will likely remain 1-3 days for changing the processor. But its 2-4 when you add 16 GB Ram or change the hdd

Could that maybe have something to do with yesterday's holiday (Feast of the Ascension)? Almost all companies were closed yesterday in NL's. Maybe this was also the case for Denmark and Sweden?

(b.t.w, first post here. Reading the forum for a longer time though :) , waiting for the iMac too!)

I was just looking for the base model of the iMac on Amazon Germany. But i can't find it. I looked for "iMac MC309", but no result.

Could Amazon have taken the iMac out of the shop?

imacs are much much more lower in stock than mbp. Apple online store still shipping custom mbp at 1-3 days while imac 2-4 just for ram or hdd change. It has been 2-4 for a few weeks now. Also refurb store has less imacs than mbp

I dont think retina is coming to the imac, maybe higher res but not true retina. Why would shipping and stock be this bumpy for imac and not mbp 3.5 weeks out. Still hopeful for pre wwdc imac

Both models (27"+21") are still available in normal and better config.

For maintance, not for an update :)

Not to pick through other peoples post, but , when you say "not for an update" do you mean that when it currently says "we're busy updating the website" are you seeing something that nobody else is seeing ???

When he said that the site wasn't down for an update, I think he meant an update for any hardware.
