50% of us say tomorrow. I hope we are right. Still no change on UK website.

If I could, I'd change my vote to 5/22. It dovetails too nicely with Alienware's date.

What changes ( in apple site) usual appear in refresh days?

Generally there will be a note saying "We'll be back soon" for a few hours on the store. Then the store launches with a big splash and the home page updates to "Introducing The New iSomething".

About the UK - isn't the European HQ for Apple in Dublin, Ireland? Proximity alone could explain UK shipping times then if the HQ acts as a shipping-hub. I say this because I've had computers shipped from Ireland to here (Sweden) due to unknown reasons.

There should be a "NEW" symbol next to the iMac on the store page if there is a release, like the symbol next to the Apple TV and iPad.

If you go to the Apple site right now, and click 'Store' on the toolbar, then click the iMac, it takes you to a pretty page that says, and has always said, "The New iMac". It always says it's new, because it is, until the next model comes out, in which case the page will be updated to describe that model, which will now be 'new'.

EDIT: Ahh. . . I see what you were talking about, though. On the main store page, there are little blue boxes that say NEW in them next to recently updated items. Cool!

Was just looking at the refurb store in the uk. at 11:00pm it went from having quite a few macbook pros and imacs to nothing at all!

Bizarre coincidence or is something brewing?

Fingers crosses for tomorrow, hope i wake up to the new Apple store is closed sign:0) even though WWDC seems more likely with the rumor of MacBook launch. Keep the updates coming...

Do you think that they will use the WWDC to updating the all family? Humm it is too much...no?

Proberly MacBooks and iMacs... Dont think Mac Pro and Mac mini is on the menu just yet. They'll be there in a few months. But thats just My guess. Hope for all who is waiting, that all models updates prior to WWDC:)

When apple releases a new iMac, can someone walk right into the apple store on that day and go home with it, or is there a delay between announcement and general availability?

Generally they don't announce unless you can buy immediately.

iDevices are the exception because of 1) insane demand, and 2) FCC filings mean the device gets pre-announced one way or another anyway.

I bought my 2008 iMac on the day of announcement from the Regent Street store in London.

OK, so 50% of us were wrong. I guess there is a risk we'll see the refreshed iMacs at wwdc (likely silently but in that time frame), since it is now "official" that the MBPs will be refreshed by then.

Why are 50% of us wrong? Normally they don't refresh anything til 9am PST.
