How did you change the color of the lockscreen time and date to black?

Here's a screenshot of the AppStore in mid swipe, I just wanted to point out that they literally layered..everything. Not sure if it shows up in the screenshot, but you can tell when you swipe slowly.

What I did was just do a simple google search on your iDevice such as "High resolution iPhone 5 wallpapers" and it returns some really decent, high quality wallpapers

It does happen automatically, and not always when you expect (which may or may not be a bug at this point)! I posted a bunch of screen caps earlier in this thread that shows some of the black vs. white typography.

It depends. There are some really nice light colored wallpapers that make the design pop on the lock screen (see here and here).

Then again, there are some spectacular dark colored ones too (see here)
