Found it ages ago whilst looking for "wood textures". Can't stand busy desktop images!

the way i set it up involves a mix of iconoclasm, sbrotator, shrink, no undocked icon labels, and the gladhander theme. I have a 7x4 layout on iconoclasm (which i tiled as seen), 75% scaled icons on shrink (80% on dock). sbrotator's settings are overruled by iconoclasm, just enable rotation. icons are all from the gladhander theme, but i may end up replacing a few of the ones i dont like as much. It costs a few bucks, but its worth it for the customization for sure.
I also highly recommend using the UInique theme on top of this - it customizes all the basic apps in a way that i think matches this setup better
