No, not fitting, they were unnecessarily rude.

The thread said to post your screens, not share them. If it said share, I would have refrained, I don't "share" anything with virtual people.

It's pretty telling by the reaction of some people that there is a born wholly on the internet self appointed entitlement & expectation that everything can and should be shared. If someone says no, they don't have to give a reason and they should have a reasonable expectation of respect for that outcome.
While I agree with your point that it wasn't specifically stated that you would have to share your wallpaper/background with somebody, it's kind of implied. If somebody likes what your background looks like, it's reasonable to think that they would ask for you to share the wallpaper. If you don't wish to share your wallpaper, why would you post it to begin with in a thread? Apparently we need a disclaimer in a thread that was meant to be fun.

It's kind of implied is the issue I have with the "Freeconomy" in this digital age, sharing as in showing you is one thing, "Can I have what you have but not pay for it?" is another.

People expect a lot for free these days and that is not a respectable or sustainable practice in the society we have created. By taking the time to point this thread out as an example of how rampant this expectation now is, I am hoping to make people think before they do that and to *ESPECIALLY* not disrespect one another if someone declines to give something away.

I was pretty surprised at how rude people were to that guy, pretty telling of how people have become.
