Upper one is mine, lower one is what I have now since w850i is in the shop for repairs. Yeah, they actually provided me with the 3310 to use while my phone is in the shop.. god I hate this phone.

I've had w850i since the day it launched, and I still haven't stopped loving it, best phone I've ever had! But now I guess it's time to replace it with iphone, if teliasonera doesn't put me off with way too high costs.

But I couldn't take using it for 2 days, let alone 3 weeks, so I picked this up today off Craigslist for $65.

Here's my current phone . . . a Nokia N72.
Bought it because of Triband/MP3/symbian gadgets, so i'm holding on to this one till I can get my hands on a shiny iPhone 3G!

This is actually a cool thread - can I join in?

I'm not getting a 3G, but when I updated from 1.0.2 to 1.1.2, I had trouble unlocking, so I had to use my old standby for a day, T-Mobile SDA (by HTC).

Nice reception and sound quality. Keyboard too small. Runs Windows Mobile. The only problem with it is I couldn't get it to sync with either of my Windows laptops (surprise....).

My iPhones syncs with my PC server (I use for iTunes) running Outlook just fine.

An Apple product works better with Windows than a Microsoft product... :eek:

there are tons of scratches, random restarts, loses reception when it has 5 bars, background changes whenever it wants between a pic and a blue screen and it doesn't close all the way. Gotta love it.

Those that sold their 1st-Gen iPhones...

...what steps did you take to properly wipe your iPhone of its data before selling (eBay or private sale)???

With today's annoucement that a "proper" wipe feature with be in the upcoming 2.0 software upgrade, is it now worth it to wait until after the 11th (or if the patch comes out earlier) in order to do a clean wipe before selling???

OMGG.. that was the first phone I ever owned!!! Back about 4-5 years ago. I haven't seen it since haha.

A proper wipe(in the absence of the new security feature) would be to restore it in iTunes, fill it to the brim with songs and movies(ones that don't give away your identity of course), do another restore and fill it again with songs and movies, then restore one last time before selling.

That said, all I did was restore mine and sell it and i'm not worried.
 
Moto Razr V3i, I can't wait to get rid of you. At least it works and it has a caveman version of iTunes.:D:D LOL! July 11th can't come soon enough!!!!!:);):D

iPhone 3G=3rd Cell Phone This Year

I got this in February as an AT&T GoPhone. It was my first cell phone. It was awesome for texting, but the external screen broke and it really bothered me.

In May I got a plan, so I got the silver LG Shine. BIG mistake. I should've waited until July to start my plan so I could get the iPhone 3G. The small keys on this makes it almost impossible to text, which I do a lot. Now I have to spend $400+ on my iPhone.

Now I hate to say this.... But I haven't used my iPod since I got it. Mainly because of the radio... but that's only because I never get new music, and the radio always has new music. you cut me open annnnd I.....

where did you buy this from?
 
Sold my original back a few months ago. Then I used a Nokia 6120. Then I bought a brand new one from my local AT&T store on 6/10 to use and return when 3g is launched. I got an email from AT&T confirm that I can return this phone until 8/1 and just pay the restocking fee.

I got it from a T-mobile store. It was originally $150, but it had a $100 instant rebate. And the camera isn't what I'd call "high quality". The video is actually pretty bad. It works alright in the perfect conditions, though.
