I access launchpad via a gesture, so my dock is empty and thus shows only the currently-running apps. Downloads is the only folder on it. The Time Machine Backups icon is just there because it happened to be doing a backup when I took the grab.

Minimalist

My dock now serves to only show launched apps. Launching apps is through launchpad or spotlight. I am happy to share my awesome wallpaper. I know it's hard to find!

Grey on the first space for pure work focus and spaces 2 and 3 are to counter act the negative effects of grey ;)

Quick question, why does my dashboard still have the old background in mission control even though I've changed it?

My Dock is for running apps only and quick access to the Document and Downloads folders. My main Finder desktop is in the middle (Desktop 3):

I moved my Dock to LaunchPad (made it F10) and organized my Applications folder into, my iPhone like, folders:
