I access launchpad via a gesture, so my dock is empty and thus shows only the currently-running apps. Downloads is the only folder on it. The Time Machine Backups icon is just there because it happened to be doing a backup when I took the grab.

That's my photo. I did try offering some free wallpaper on this forum but the mods said linking to even a personal website isn't allowed so the thread was deleted.

My Dock is for running apps only and quick access to the Document and Downloads folders. My main Finder desktop is in the middle (Desktop 3):
I moved my Dock to LaunchPad (made it F10) and organized my Applications folder into, my iPhone like, folders:
