Phone is actually from Appalachian Wireless, LTEiRA partner for VZW. They can roam on VZW's LTE nationwide and vice versa. Looks like they're allowing the use of Band 4 also!

A lot of older verizon devices don't support band 4 LTE. Only the iPhone 5s and the galaxy s4 and couplet other newer devices as of this moment.

Just completed a new speed test earlier. The last one was in Beijing; this one is in Shanghai [China].



Much better!

Again anything is an improvement over 2G. Now they just need to increase the coverage. Right now this coverage is spotty at best.
