I really love fall for picture taking. Standard photo app with HDR mode, then edited a bit in PS Express because HDR photos tend to lose some of the colors.

Great picture. In PS Express, what did you do/how did you edit it to restore the colors?

I just used the Vibrant effect, though it probably made it a bit overdone that way. I just went for the "quick fix" and compared it to the original non-HDR shot, and it looked close enough (with better low light colors). I did try to tinker with the original HDR in iPhoto later, and I noted that the Vibrant effect didn't change the fountain water color while the "Boost" effect in iPhoto did. I ended up liking the PS Express version best. I usually don't like the Vibrant effect in PS Express, but in this case it actually did what I wanted.

Here is one I took in instagram of a cute baby lorikeet.

Basic Hipstamatic

I am a pro who has been on the road working on a coffee table book project for over a year now, two months left to go. The only digital camera I have with me is my iPhone 4, set on Hipstamatic, basic setting, looks killer right out of the camera which is great since I *never* use photoshop to fake out my photos. The main reason I use the iphone at all is for blog entries and to send home to my wife.

In some of the images you can see real cameras in use for the project, loaded with real photographic materials, film..;-)

And I never use the HDR setting, it looks flat / amateur hour, I can judge light in my sleep. Another set, all 10 from the past few days, enjoy!
