Since the upgrade my score increased by 20 lol

What does it all mean tho? Is this the geek equivalent of penis size or something?

Gives new meaning to the term "gigaflops"

I can see where your coming from but as someone really paining over the decision between the 2.2GHz and 2.3GHz 15" because I'm planning on having this for 5-6 years. Anyways it's nice seeing numbers from consumers because I can't calculate the difference.

And it displays how consistent the MBP's are. Idk

10073 with a 2.2 4gb. 500GB@7200RPM drive, just got it today with no programs installed yet, why do I have lower scores then someone with the same specs?

Although my 6yo desktop scored 1421, and that was right after a reinstall of XP I did this week!

Post your scores here! Early 2011 vs. Late 2011 Geekbench x64 Thread

Here's the rules:

Close all apps via CMD+Q or Force Quit before running Geekbench.

Please use Geekbench 2 x64.

1. Post your machine specs in the following format: Screen size, CPU clock speed, RAM capacity and speed, GPU, VRAM capacity, storage media

2. Put your Geekbench score below your specs.

3. Put your OS X version under your score.

4. (Optional) Put the link to your Geekbench score last.

Please do not hesitate to post your score even if a machine with identical specs has its score posted already. An average will be derived from the posted scores, so the more, the merrier!

Example post:
15", 2.2Ghz, 8GB 1333Mhz, HD 6750M, 1GB VRAM, 500GB Momentus XT
Geekbench score: 11042
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2

Sigh...apparently mods don't like a separate thread for solely comparing the early and late 2011 models. So they merged my thread with this thing. This thread combines both the early and late 2011 models, so it just gets harder and harder to keep track.
