What about Apple Hardware Test? I personally trust it more than some third-party utiliy, which runs from OS X itself. Anyway, glad for you . (I wish I could have find such RAM modules here.. No luck as for now.) BTW, can you pls drop pictures of sticks?

Dedicate some of that to a RAM disk and copy (some of) your most used applications to that. Say hello to instant loading times and insane responsiveness.

I remember about AHT, will do it when have time. Quad is in the office (and I am not), but I can post a pic of the RAM I bought from Yahoo Auction (these are sticks sent to me). Earlier ones were also Hynix, but 4200U.
