UPS just updated for it to be delivered today (Toronto). Pumped! My BeatsX broke last month and I've been CHOKING on my old wired EarPods waiting for these.

this is an old school product launch. no store inventory and if you didnt order within the first couple of minutes, you arent getting it right away. maybe because this is not an Apple branded product or maybe because of new Apple Store leadership. They released these way before they had proper levels of stock.

I am 50 and have been buying the latest tech for at least 30 years. This was how it always used to be. With all tech companies. Pre-order immediately or wait a while.

Was looking forward to using these this weekend at the gym, but oh well.

Since I already have a range of May 13-20 and there doesn't seem to be stock. I’ll just wait. Not even going to bother following to see if stores get stock.

I've been using my earpods after losing my Airpods and waiting for these to come out. I've been amazed by how much more quickly they start hurting my ears than the Airpods did. They feel bigger and just don't fit as well. I'd forgotten.

My standard FedEx shipping switched from the 10th to the 11th last night. No big deal, still ahead of listed expectation but it won’t be a launch delivery.

Sim. FedEx results here & agreed re. “expectation” etc, 1st world probs. no doubt.

Congrats!

Did the ear hooks bother you during your gym session?

Also used them in gym for like almost 2 hours and had 85% battery left

Received mid afternoon, now to get some miles in outside, either w/ rain or sweat these are about to get wet.

ETA for my usage (outdoor running in heat/humidity) these are a keeper and only after 4 miles. Been using gen. 1 AirPods since they intro’d, moisture was always an issue but the over ear rubber? hooks keep these in place and the individuals controls on each are just value added. These are a huge improvement over AirPods but that’s not a valid comparison IMO & as always YMMV applies here.

Got mine and went for a run.

These sound amazingly clean! My PB3 were muddy and distorted. The Pro's are super accurate. Maybe less bass? These remind me of my 64 Audio A3s. Those are a triple driver molded in ear for live music.

Anyways, way less hassle than PB3 and sounds better. Very happy.

Feel like now I need to upgrade my watch to an LTE model, air pods are nice too, but for outdoor activity or perspiration, these win.

I got mine on launch day with regular shipping. Seems to be the product of the FedEx distribution network being with 1 day of my location.

In any event, I have owned a lot of true wireless headsets. Bose, Sony, Earin, audio technica, Jabra, sennheiser and master and dynamic among others.

These Powerbeats deliver the best all around experience I have tried. Battery life, connectivity and fit are superb. Probably the best gym headphones on the planet.

My gripes are price and sound quality and they are minor. As to price, they are overpriced by about 50. Not the end of the world but there are a lot of competitors that offer 80 percent of the experience for 100 less. For many that will be good enough.

Among them the Bose are probably my favorites. As for sq, it’s definitely not at the level of sennheiser or mw07. But those do cost more and have other significant draw backs. The sq is very good. It’s better than Jabra and probably on par with the Bose. Its a fun exciting sound signature with good bass that is not muddy and doesn’t bleed. It’s not to say it’s bad because it’s not but I would have liked them to match something like the sennheiser for clarity and dynamics. It’s a minor gripe.

If you are on iOS and don’t mind the price, these are a must buy. They are pushing true wireless technology further than everyone else to date. It’s crazy that Apple is under marketing these. They should be on the front page. They will sell like hot cakes. Everything AirPods are not.
