This is rather interesting that I paid for the expedited shipping and still no charge on my card or any change in the shipping status. I'll be very annoyed if I paid extra to have it come late.
what time did you order? My email receipt shows a time of 7:02. My status is still preparing to ship but FedEx shows a delivery from Apple scheduled for tomorrow. Shows the package will ship from Rialto CA, about 45 minutes away from me. Depending on where Apple ships from in your area, it isn't worth paying for expedited service. For me, except for new iPhones that come from China, standard shipping always ships from Rialto and is always next day.
Paying for expedited service doesn't move you up in line, just a faster shipping service once it ships, like overnight instead of ground. Depending on how far away you are from where Apple ships, it might not make a difference.

Ordered at 10 on the nose. Still preparing. Apple may do a lot of this by region so I’m still hoping for a shipping notice and Friday delivery. For those of you getting tracking notices are they shipping by overnight or is that ground or 2 day that just happens to be close enough that it comes in 1 day?
If you have a FedEx account or make a free one, I bet you have a shipping label created shown.
I chose the free shipping. Mine shows a label created last night, with scheduled delivery tomorrow via FedEx Ground Home Delivery by end of day tomorrow.
To this point though, it looks like it hasn’t entered the FedEx network yet, and is still in the hands of Apple. No other tracking information yet, other than the label being created...

Nope, I have an account and no label has been created. I still have hope, we still have some time to get one created. I used to work in a warehouse that pushes electronic products, I have until 8 PM before I disappoint that I will not get it by tomorrow.

Same here. Got a shipping notification. Shipped via UPS coming out of PA, delivery Monday. Ordered as soon as it opened.
I believe unless you paid expedited, they are shipping via ground. If you live close enough from where it ships you'll get it tomorrow.
