PowerBook Updates? Dual G4 Core?

They are not even being creative, looks the same everywhere you go as far as language. Maybe they fired all of there web people? LOL

I'd disagree. When using my dad's toshiba P4 laptop, it feels like a suitcase compared to my tibook, and when it comes time to update her I won't think twice about another powerbook if they are of similar form factor, but, if they are huge and bulky, I may.
 
if something really boring comes out like a new multi colored ipod sock with gold sequins comes out i'm going to laugh so hard at you all
 
Hopefully the new PBs get a little cheaper (if we are getting them!?!).

Is the Apple store always updated with a new product/s after it is taken down for maintenance?? Or has it been down before because of some general maintenance?

edit: what is the longest time that the Apple store's been down for? What's the shortest?
 
UK Store currently down.

I think we will get the speedbump tomorrow (or today or next week).

There will never be a G4 dual-core PB. Apple aren't going to abandon the months of work on G5 for some untested motorola thing that may never ship at all.

The G5 PB will be realeased at the earliest at the same press-conference as Tiger. There is no way Steve is going to miss this strutting opportunity.

The dual core G4 is better then the G5... Especially for a laptop.

PowerBook G4 1.67Ghz, it has to be!
Maybe new iPod Minis - version 2.0?

Damn It!
But Still Cool, I guess.

The thing that worries me is.... if they change the PB Design,
that probably means the G5 PB is way way off?
If they keep Alu machines with the upgrades then we
will still see G5 with Tiger, hopefully.
 
I quite honestly don't give a crap if its dual core G4 or single core G5 as long as they do SOMETHING...ANYTHING with that DAMN FSB.

I wish they had a Post icon with a sideways thumb. I don't consider this good or bad news.
 
When I checked my shipping status on the UK store about an hour ago it said down for maintenance... Not sure if this applies or if we are definately egtting updates!
