Interesting.. As this seems to contradict to their press release that they will start the design and production only after they released the real iPhone on hand.. so I bet the one that will be selling in their website should be an improved version..

Yep.

They commented on their FB page that the ones now on pre-order are a re-design and you can get a replacement/refund if you have bought ones from the Apple Stores or something.

Anyone have pics of the new design?

I've always found these to be the best on an iPhone. I was hoping they'd show some detailed images before shipping, and makes me wonder why they haven't.

Haven't decided about ordering yet.

No go on the new ones for the iPhone 6

I received my new PowerSupport screen protectors today. I did not have any of the Apple ones, but I can tell you that these JUST cover the edge of the viewable screen AND NO MORE! No room for error and I was off just a tad on this application. I'll go back and try it again when I don't have my Five-year-old "helping"

I ordered the Anti-glare and the Crystal clear. I only opened the Crystal clear and I repeat, there is still a big gap from the outer edge of the protector, to the edge/rounded edge of the iPhone 6. This is with one of those barely there type cases.
I have another 6 with a Defender case, it will leave some of the sides exposed, also some at the top. The bottom looks better though.

I must have received the "case friendly" version.:(

Like I said, I will perform a redo, but it still seems that they should cover more area.

i want to know why all the glass screen protectors don't just cover the camera and sensors.. they are clear glass right? The glass screen protector on my 5s only has holes for the home button and ear piece. wish i could find the same thing for the 6 and 6 Plus.

bit disappointed

I just applied PYK-01 (AFP Crystal Film Set for iPhone 6+) and although the fit it much better than what puma posted with the initial "we-need-to-get-it-to-market-fast!" batch, it is still not up to the quality I expect from powersupport.

There are no issues with the cutouts, but maybe due a margin of error during production the film does not cover the entire width of the screen. The picture I have attached is when the film is aligned perfectly with the RIGHT side of the display (to show how much on the left is exposed). the 6+ used the PS film and the 6 got the MIME Feather+...much happier with my MIME (so far at least).

The only redeeming factor is that for the same price you get two films (PS) as opposed to one glass (MIME). Can anyone tell me if they get a perfect fit on either their 6 or 6+?

^^^That looks better, but yeah…still not quite up to PS standards IMO.

It appears as though they are being overly cautious with the curved edges. I know their product and all products that aren't stretchy films won't be able to cover the curved areas but there appears to be more flat area they could reach if they extended the film on all edges. Perhaps they are concerned people won't be able to install their film if there isn't a ton of space for errors or misalignment?

Is it just me or is the material of the anti-glare changed?? It seems to attract more finger prints than the naked screen.

This....I usually get the screen protectors on first go round....most of my friends have me do them. The iPhone 6 product from PS is just different. It doesn't cover the visible screen completely. Looking from the side, even 5 or so degrees off center, you can see the screen area under the film. This is not going to cut it.

I gave PS my direct feedback today yet made sure they were aware that the quality of the film wasnt in question (I do love the feel). They responded almost immediately and refunded my money, including shipping, AND mentioned a wider film was being produced. They didn't have a date for availability as of today.

Pretty cool. Thought I'd share.

Thanks

Thanks for the info.

How did you ship it back, if you don't mind me asking? Just a regular envelope through the USPS?

I had installed the Apple Store Power Support anti-glare film from day one on my iPhone 6+, and it was fine.

I also ordered an Air Jacket and AFP Crystal Film set the same week (of Oct 1), which arrived yesterday. It's the first time I have bought from the importer, until now (since the original iPhone) I have always bought their gear from retailers in Japan (Yodobashi Camera, BIC, LABI, etc.).

The AFP Crystal Film is cut to fit much more precisely, particularly around the home button, and I used the hinge method (made easy by the new release liner material) to achieve an absolutely perfect fit.

Combined with the Air Jacket, I am very satisfied with the appearance and protection.

The Air Jacket has raised protection for the glass radius, yet does not interfere with side swipes (unlike the Apple leather case, which unfortunately does get in the way).

Like many others I have yet to find a film protector better than Power Support.

I got my PowerSupport crystal film and applied over the weekend. I have to say I'm not impressed. Not necessarily with the quality of the product, But I think the because of the curved edges, I'm not going to get that "invisible" feel I'm used to seeing with Power Support. I can actually feel the edges on the phone which kinda drives me nuts. I'm a "naked" user and I love the phone the way the natural phone looks/feels. I might go back to bare with the phone. I think the curved edges are going to make it darn near impossible to get a good cover on it. Unless they make one that stretches.

Unfortunately for now a wet protector seems to be the only way to get that sense of "invisibility" since those can go edge to edge.

And those, universally, feel absolutely horrible. Have never seen one that doesn't have a "sticky" aspect and causes distortion on the screen. Especially Zagg- complete junk.

I've never been a fan of the wet protectors. I haven't used too many, but the ones I have seem to get "sloppy" after a short while. That's what I've loved about the power support, they looked great for a long time on the phones.

Someone earlier mentioned Rhino Shield that looked pretty good. A bit pricey, but I may end up giving those a shot.

Just to echo some of the sentiments in here, the Crystal Film fit leaves a lot to be desired. The fit around the home button is great, as are the cuts up top. But man, the width is awful. Being able to see the border the entire way around the phone is a bummer and something I'm just not used to.

Can't say I blame PS though because the curved edges have thrown everyone off. And the quality and clarity of the film is excellent in true PS fashion. But I'll definitely be letting them know I'm not satisfied with the fit if they bring out another film that is wider. Why not just do that from the beginning?

The clear Air Jacket I received today is great, btw. PERFECT fit and just a classy, minimalist case.

Thank you

I didn't. They didn't want it back.

I emailed PS support last night. They replied with an apology and gave me a complete refund!!! They also said to keep the two 2-packs from the order!!!

I will buy more from them if/when they get the width corrected.

Thanks again

Lots of misinformation.

PS already has wider films shipping directly from them

The anti glare model number ending in AJ sold in Apple stores is the narrow ones, the ones with no AJ on the end are shipped directly from PS and are wider with better cutouts.
