PowerSupport - Bad news

I got a refund from powersupport last week complaining about the fit.

The protector does not cover the entirety of the screen. I placed mine perfectly center and there is a narrow gap of unprotected screen on each side.

This is very apaparent on white and gold phones because the screen is black. I see black outside of the protective film on each side.

They acknowledged this issue and said that in the near future they will have a revised antiglare film that is slightly wider. This was last week.

I had ordered directly from them two weeks ago.

The anti glare model number ending in AJ sold in Apple stores is the narrow ones, the ones with no AJ on the end are shipped directly from PS and are wider with better cutouts.

The cutouts maybe better but its still not wide enought to fully cover the screen portion.

got my version two crystal films today, fit is much better than the originals and im so glad to have a crystal film again. however it indeed is still not quite wide enough to cover the screen.

ill be curious to see how version three turns out. my gut feeling though is that it wont be compatible at all with any case, the apple case would surely lift the film when putting the case on i would think.

version 2 might be the best we realistically can use.

Does your version go all the way around the home button? The version I have on my phone does not, but I do think PS can definitely improve the coverage of the protector.

I just fitted the anti-glare film set to my new iPhone 6 plus, kit was HGP42ZM/A

I'm not too happy with the fit especially on the home button spacing. Also the anti-glare looks to be leaving fingerprints pretty easy also.

Picked up the iphone 6 plus version of the antiglare film. same results as regular iphone 6. not big enough.

Don't think there's any way around the curvature. I just picked up some cheap ones from Tech Armor to see what the fuss is all about.
