Just got my black rubber for 6+. WTF! When I took it off it left scratches and black smudgearks on my phone! Not happy about this. It's supposed to protect the phone not scratch it! What do I do?!

This is worrying...any close-up pics of the damage?

I currently have the rubber one for my iPhone 6 in space grey and the feel of the case is pretty amazing. It is definitely very thin and hugs the phone extremely well. Others were not kidding about how difficult it is to take off though, so be careful during this process. I do see some dust along the edges but simply blowing at it usually takes care of the problem. I did also order a smoked clear for when I get tired of the black rubber so we'll see which one I like better.

One guy complaining about scratches with no photos and proof?

One sec, lemme go cancel my order too off of that. Whatever.

Yes, I have both the Apple leather case (in brown, black and red) and the Air Jacket (in clear). The Air Jacket is very thin and fits the iPhone very snugly, adding little bulk or appearance of bulk. The other night when I was showing off my iPhone to friends, one woman didn't even realize that there was any sort of case on it at all. The Air Jacket does not have as much of a "lip" as the Apple Leather case, to the point that I would not set my iPhone face-down on any surface while the Air Jacket was on it.

I prefer the way the Apple leather case feels in my hands, actually, and I also like having the variety of colors from which to choose and the ease of slipping the leather cases on-and-off when I want to change things around a bit.
I think I'm in agreement with you. Probably sending my clear one back. Looks fabulous & is super thin but it's just too damn hard to get on/off!!! Actually prefer the Apple leather as well. I don't worry about it scratching the phone as much, easy on/off & leather feels so much better in the hand than plastic! Also I go naked half the time with a Sena pouch for extra protection when needed. The Apple/Sena combo is a more convenient option for me as much as I want to like the Air Jacket. The AJ isn't something you want to take on/off a whole lot.

I am so mad right now, Just received my iPhone 6 plus air jacket rubber black or supposedly, they sent me a iPhone 6 one. They had one job.... they're sending me the right one now but I'm still so mad, waited way to long for this.

Yeah, one of the biggest drawbacks to clear cases is seeing every little thing that gets in there!

That is very true for any clear cases.

The way I make sure there is zero speck of dust is to use a microfiber and a cleaning solution, followed by tapes and air blower. Glad that this kind of cleaning needs not to be done clearly if you clean the phone and the exterior case regularly. I find that with just a microfiber cloth, you will see speck of dusts and lint right after you put the case on despite there seems to be nothing before you put the case on.

Clear cases are more for clean freak/OCD or alternatively, someone who is willing to accept a slight imperfection but enjoy the lightness (the usual benefit) of the clear case.

I had the exact same thing! I'm guessing it's worse for me, because mine needs to ship all the way to New Zealand :(

Graham at PS support emailed right back after I contacted them with my problem, and said they'd ship the right one ASAP. That was two days ago though, and I've not received any indication that a new one has shipped.

Clear air jacket cases look really nice with gold iPhone 6's. I got space gray 6 plus just for the black front. The black air jacket gives me the look I wanted, but still wished Apple made black iPhone 6's. The space grey doesn't look that great to me behind the cut outs.

Could you post a picture of the back of your iPhone too? Thanks.

I got mine last week. Left it on for a week.

Pros:

- Looks super sleek (I got fogged clear)
- Fit is perfect

Cons:

- buttons are cut-out, exposing them to moisture\damage
- next to impossible to get off the phone

For me the cons ruin the pros, so I ended up taking it off. Like others have said, removing it is next to impossible. I didn't know if I was going to break my phone or my case, or both.

I too am sticking with the Apple case... for me the silicon is the case I prefer. My only gripe about the Apple cases is that they're open on the bottom. I HOPE the reason Apple did that was to allow for a dock they have up their sleeve.

Please show us the pics of the scratches. Was planning to get this but not if it scratches the phone.

I've popped mine on and off a few times. Sure the fit is tight, but I don't see how it'd scratch the sides of the phone if you start from the receded corner.

Call them, I was furious and wasn't going to wait for them to get back to me. Im going to call again tomorrow and make sure they've shipped it and I've got a tracking code.

Just ordered a clear matte air jacket for my Gold iP6. Although I'm enjoying my Blue Leather Apple Case, I can't wait for the Power Support one to arrive.

I already have the PS Anti-glare film paired with the Apple Silicone case, but I placed an order for the clear-matte AirJacket today, looks wayyyyy too good on Space Gray for me to pass up.

A close up video tour on Power Support Air Jacket casing for iPhone 6

Power Support Air Jacket smoke edition
View in 720p

Excellent fit, smooth texture, slim and minimalistic casing which make this casing so popular.

Rather expensive as only comes with the casing, very difficult to remove and mine already have some minor scratch after a few days of usage, but still loving it.

Happy case hunting :)

The video highlighted how the case is self-healing to prevent small scratches and blemishes. Is this not the case?

Just wanted to add that I tried around 70 other cases and this is my favorite so far by far. I love power support's air jacket.

Agreed, unlike other cases that are matte clear material the finish closely matches the texture of the aluminum underneath.

It also has a nice feel to it. It's a bit soft and grippy to the touch but has no give to it.

Got my power support clear for my iPhone 6 Plus today.

I can simply confirm what everyone else is saying: This is the best case for your phone - the fit is perfect, tight and precise. It adds almost no size to the phone, so it really is like there is no case on it at all. It really makes it look like there is no case at all while adding protection, adding a flat back so no more protuding lens concerns, and a very minor lip on the front.

The only con, and I only say this to be complete, is that it is a very tight fit so it's very difficult to remove and requires a bit of muscle to put it on the first time, but it snaps into place quite easily. Make sure you put it on in a clean, dust-free environment, would suck to get some dust and having to remove it, would be very tough and honestly, I would be afraid of damaging the phone trying to take it off.

Despite the open lip on the right hand hand bottom corner, the instructions say to lift the bottom LEFT side of the phone case first (where the headphone jack is) to remove.

We will see how it holds up to getting dust in the openings, which was always an issue with all power support cases. I have owned power support cases since the iPhone 4.

Can anyone compare this case to the apple leather case? Looking for input on which looks/feels thinner and also how is the grip compared to the apple leather case.

The apple leather case has become super soft and has amazing grip

Pics would be great

Thanks

Same here. Just ordered a smoke one. These just look so nice.

There are better pics post here...

The pic I posted above was taking with my iPhone 5 at work. I was just admiring the reflection on my 6 plus of my work computers wallpaper... LOL

Nice ! The black version really match your phone very well :)

Yes self healing only apply for very minor scratch. This case is make of poly-carbonate and have a special coating, once it wear off, personally believe it will prompt to more scratches. Advantage of getting the smoke version is that it wont be so obvious.

Still loving it :). Better to have scratches on the casing then on our expensive phone. Cheers.

Apple case adds much more vulk Compared to the air jacket. This aj is so slim and tight that it feels almost as there is no case at all.

Definitely recommend this case over the Apple case if you want something slim . Apple case of course provides more protection against drops but I would think that not much.

I also think that in some use cases the apple cases' edges are in the way when trying to use swipes, with the air jacket as there's pretty much no lip it's much nicer
