PowerSupport iPhone 6 & Plus cases

Some pictures of the rubberized black Air Jacket I found. Not sure if I like it as much as the 5 Air Jacket, which worked on the black iPhone 5 better because the parts shown through the cutouts were actually black. The contrast of space gray to black doesn't work as well imo. Still looks pretty sleek though.

Also, the PS film used in these pictures must be the revised films with tighter fits they're going to ship soon. Looks a bit better than the 1st versions.

Damn that looks sick!!! I like the contrast of the silver & black. These forums are killing me. Just when I'm all happy with my setup, I see all these really cool looking cases. After watching those vids earlier, I'm very tempted to get the clear one. Looked fab on the phone, so clean. I'm all about minimal cases/styling. Been lurking on the Shumuri thread for awhile but PS is obviously of a much better quality.
 
Yeah, I prefer the Air Jackets over super-thin cases like the Shumuri because not only does it provide actual drop protection, it also takes care of the protruding camera issue. Yet at the same time it's still thinner than most other cases out there. It's like a perfect middle ground.
 
Agreed! I had the 1st Air Jacket for the 3G which was a hard plastic that scratched like crazy. Haven't tried one since but these type of cases have come a long way since then.
 
When do you suppose these will be available in Apple stores? I'm in Canada and shipping directly from Power Support is a little pricey.
 
Doesnt look like it has much of a lip on the front for lay on the table protection
 
Hey bananataffy, did your case cause any scratches to the phone itself? I've mostly stayed away from cases the last few years because of some bad experiences in the past. Dirt etc getting in the case and scratching up my phone.

MIME Feather+ on iPhone 6 (not the best of pictures but I tried to angle it where the glass portion was actually visible).

After about a year and 1/2 of ownership, I took the Air Jacket off to have my iPhone serviced and I did notice beforehand there were some light scuff marks on the shiny chamfers. They really can only be noticed up close when angled under a light source. Those chamfers are really easily scuffed though. There weren't any other marks or scratches anywhere else on the phone however. It's pretty subtle, so much so that I think I can still advertise my iPhone 5 on craigslist as excellent or near-mint condition.

I don't think it'll be an issue with the 6 since it doesn't have any fragile regions like the 5 did.

I saw that in your other thread. How are you liking it? Does it add any noticeable thickness to the phone?

I ordered a pack of Spigen Crystal plastic films as a temporary solution and to see whether I can tolerate the cut-outs. 10 bucks so not a huge deal. The Feather+ would probably be my first choice if I ever decided on a more permanent solution.
 
w00t!!! Just got my shipped notification for my Air Jacket Rubber Black for iPhone 6 Plus. I had the black air jacket on my iPhone 5 for 2 years and loved it... Can't wait to see my plus finally blacked out!!!:cool:
 
Is the earphone opening big enough for 3rd party earphones like the Shure SE215.

Just ordered one for myself as well!

Air Jacket Clear Matte for iPhone 6

Got mine yesterday....

Looks great on the Space Grey. Not much of a lip to protect it face down, but fit is phenomenal.

Had a Neo Hybrid on first and I like the lip to keep it face down. Might need to get a screen protector from them to keep screen clean.

Will try to post pics this afternoon.

It was a pain in the ass to take off.

Regarding your last sentence, does the case seem prone to damage if you take it off? Or scratches the phone?

No, I don't think that will be an issue. It took extra force to get it off and I felt like it was going to break or crack on me.

This years air jacket is just as good as last years. It feels like there is no case on the phone. I tried to upload pics but it won't let me. Says upload pic failed. The lip on the case doesn't really stick out as much as they advertised but still a very good case. Very satisfied
 
No shipping confirmation yet either. How did you guys receive it so fast if they weren't shipping it until today?
 
Do these Powersupport cases have any grip or are they slippery. Do they feel like the phone is prone to slip out of your hand.
