After about a year and 1/2 of ownership, I took the Air Jacket off to have my iPhone serviced and I did notice beforehand there were some light scuff marks on the shiny chamfers. They really can only be noticed up close when angled under a light source. Those chamfers are really easily scuffed though. There weren't any other marks or scratches anywhere else on the phone however. It's pretty subtle, so much so that I think I can still advertise my iPhone 5 on craigslist as excellent or near-mint condition.

I don't think it'll be an issue with the 6 since it doesn't have any fragile regions like the 5 did.

I saw that in your other thread. How are you liking it? Does it add any noticeable thickness to the phone?

I ordered a pack of Spigen Crystal plastic films as a temporary solution and to see whether I can tolerate the cut-outs. 10 bucks so not a huge deal. The Feather+ would probably be my first choice if I ever decided on a more permanent solution.

The Feather+ is awesome. Unlike the Ghost, there is no noticeable thickness added and feels much thinner when your finger is looking for the home button. The only issue I can see is since the curved areas are not covered, the edges of the glass may attract dust/lint if carried in a pocket (as I'm sure most guys will). Nothing a quick wipedown won't take care of. Despite a few shortcomings that other manufacturers have also encountered, I am very satisfied with the purchase. Quality you'd expect from MIME.

One thing though- I seem to remember in years past the lifetime discount for a broken protector was 50% right? On the site now it seems to be 40%. Not an issue for me, just curious.

I also prefer a no-lip design, and never understood why many people are so obsessed with laying their phones on their screens.

The clear Air Jacket on the 6 looks super nice. I just put in an order for one and gonna give it to my mom for her gold iPhone 6+. The combo looks stupendous from the pictures. Still keeping the black for my Space Gray 6+ though. I also caved and impulsively ordered the new PS crystal screen protectors to try out. I don't know if I could live with even tiny micro hairline scratches on the screen.

More images of the clear Air Jacket, this time on the silver iPhone 6.

Super clean and minimal...imo the only case so far that's Apple-esque in design (besides of course Apple's own cases.)

Still trying to decide between Power Support and Shumuri.

What's the texture like on the clear matte? Similar to a matte screen protector?

I would take the PS Air Jacket

Yeah. Not really feeling how the top and bottom are uncovered. I know some of you like it covered but honestly, lint gets trapped in the crevices and makes it look pretty dirty. Main reason why I dislike the apple cases.

I just broke down and ordered the clear. I can't get over how freakin' good it looks in these photos! I'm sold.

Don't know what color to get for space grey till I see more pics. I like all.

Does the Air Jacket Rubber feels like the Apple Silicone case in terms of material?

I'd love to rock a clear case but from past experiences with how easily they scratch and scuff, makes me weary. I had the Powersupport "self healing" clear case for my 4s and that thing scratched within the first 3 hours of usage.

How do these hold up?

Just ordered the Matte Clear 6 Air Jacket. Let's see how long it'll take to get here.:D

Anybody has any pics of a space grey with black jacket?

That would be really helpful! And feel free to throw in some comments about the feel of the case as well!

I think bananataffy posted the rubber black on i6 grey on the 3rd page of this thread.
Those were taken from other forum, at least you know what it would look like ^^

These are all nice and fancy, but I still really just like my OctoArmor case. It's been perfect for me for a few weeks now, with no issues whatsoever. No need to spend more than $5.

It's great that you're happy with your OctoArmor, but some people want a case that doesn't completely ruin the aesthetics of the phone.

I have the clear matte case with the space gray 6 and I don't really like how it looks. Wish I would've gotten the black rubber

Ordered that for my Gold 6.
Can you explain more in detail why you don't like the Clear Matte please?
