I don't see the point of pre-ordering, there's no price incentive, plus you don't get the Apple Store Experience.

I don't see the point in going to the nearest Apple store to get it when you could pre-order and have it shipped to you for free potentially even before the Apple store starts selling Leopard.

I decided to pre-order because the nearest apple store is a pain to get to. If we had one in the local mall or somewhere closer I would go to the event though.

So is it true that they will be giving away like t-shirts or as one user said stuffed animals?? If they werre giving away stuffed animals i would suspect it to be a leopard right?? Has anybody confirmed what they will be giving way?? And Also how long you think the lines will be?? Was the lines long for the Tiger release??:apple::apple:

MacRumors is reporting free t-shirts. I'm not sure if it is confirmed elsewhere. I'd imagine it to be crowded, but I doubt they'll sellout. It isn't the iPhone, it is an OS release. Also, a disk is far easier to reproduce than an iPhone.

Unfortunately can't take the day off from work to join the festivities at my local store, so I pre ordered.
