order mine also from app store!! so much easier and it let me ship to different address other than billing. Should work b/c I've done this before.

Check out Email confirmation!!!!

How did you ship it to a differen address? I entered a different ZIP code when prompted but once I entered my app store password, it automatically switched to the billing address (which is not where I want to send the iPhone 5).

once your order has processed, just go back in and change the shipping address. You'll be all set.

I've ordered from the apple APP store before and my shipping address I always use was already stored in there. I always use diff shipping and billing. So I guess it's my default and it let me buy it with the phone.

Ah ya, so that is different then what I was trying to do. I wanted to ship to a location that I am not normally at.

Oh well, I think FedEx will have to redeliver the following Monday.

Do you know if I should receive another email confirming the change in my shipping address? I just changed it and double checked, but nothing in the email. Just wondering

I accidentally ordered the 16GB when I wanted the 32, now I can't modify the order. Waaaaaah!

Update: Cancelled and reordered.

Yeah, I received an e-mail after it went through. Give it some time and if it doesn't come, then I guess you can call Apple.

I think mine worked because I have previously made orders using diff ship to address before. That's the only reason why I'm guessing it won't work for yours though.

Yea it defintely sounds like you use more space than I do. I would have liked to get the 64. How much are you getting for your i4?? I didn't bother trying to sell mine b.c i figured no one would want it. It still works perfect so I'd rather keep it as a back up phone if my i5 breaks.

Oh no, I don't think can be activated both under same number. maybe I dont know what you're trying to ask.

Im selling mine to Gazzelle. I have always kept my old iPhones as backups but I never used them. I gave them to my mother to use , and she eventually broke each one. I would have been better off selling them . She bought an iphone 4 over the summer so no need to give her my old one. Ideally I would rather keep my ip4 but they are going to give me 180-190 for my ip4 so not a bad deal. especially since I dont have to deal with ebay and hidden fees .

Thanks for reply. Good to know. Almost $200 for an old ip4 is actually pretty decent!

I've always had excellent pre-order experiences with AT&T.

Immediate confirmation, timely updates, then handed off to FedEx.

With the granular, frequently updated status emails I get daily, it doesn't get any better. :)
