08:02 my order processed and I'm going back to bed...

then I got back up to so as to tell everyone (sorry ;))

so happy I don't have to queue from early next week to get one.

Yeah it was the smoothest and fastest pre order that I've done. When you can pre order this smoothly, your a fool if you stand and queue for hours on end outside an Apple Store.

That's not bad my tax was $75!! For 64GB....Fing SoCal tax!!!

*In CA and RI sales tax is collected on the unbundled price of the iPhone.


I guess we get screwed and have to pay tax on full value of phone....sucks!

Finally got mine in at the apple store. Alot better then last year:) 32GB Black on the way.:D:D Let the fed ex plane tracking begin. Whose got that website???:rolleyes:
 
I just placed my order £660 for ip5 32gb (black) along with apple care. Hopefully I would get on 21 sept 2012 anytime between 9am to 5pm.


:D all I can say is :apple: rule the world!!!!
 
Ordered through Apple Store App, but I did not see an option to add Applecare Protection Plan. I guess I will have to go to my local Apple store and add it within 30 days. I guess that will be pain.
 
I am an ATT customer who is Grandfathered to an Unlimited Plan. When I preorder do I just select radial button that says Unlimited Plan for Iphone or the one that says Unlimited Plan for Iphone without Visual Voicemail? (I want to keep my grandfather plan)

I've ordered from the apple APP store before and my shipping address I always use was already stored in there. I always use diff shipping and billing. So I guess it's my default and it let me buy it with the phone.

Thanks! So, if for both phones I selected "replace this phone" but just typed in a different number for one of them, the phones should be activated for both numbers when they arrive?

I am a bit of an app hoarder :eek:
And my iphone has become my portable gaming console so I like to have a few games with me.
The music was the biggest thing for me - Itunes match has helped, but it doesnt work smoothly over 3g. I find that every few songs it will play a few seconds and then stop although the play time still continues to count. Its become very annoying to me as I always use it in my car. Maybe 4g will fix it, but would still rather carry most of what I want on my phone rather than downloading all the time and running up my data.

The photos and video though did push me for the the bigger model. I sync daily (usually) but I do plan to se the camera a lot more, especially if it has improved in dark lighting. And having the Ip4 , wasnt sure how quickly the batter camera eats up space with pics and videos.

I would never have bought the 64 GB if I wsnt selling my old phone, But I figured why not

using a mb pro, hopped on safari @ about 3:15 (eastern), and grabbed an att balack 64gb in about 5 or 6 minutes on the apple website, first try. fantastic.

How long should it take tochange from "Order Received" to "Order being Processed" on Apple's site? Since I have to wait til then to correct the shipping address error.

mine took about 30-40 min, I think. My order was in by 12:05.

I ordered mine through the app. Although I didn't take out the Apple Care cover. I did see the option to add Apple Care cover was further down the page, along with the other extra accessories.

This is interesting. I did mine through apple, and did not have to make this choice, though I would definitely keep the Visual Voicemail, that is the Voicemail app/ GUI you are used to on the iPhone, otherwise you would access your vm by calling it.
 
Aww drats... I think I was one of the first phones in the "Ships in 2 weeks" window. :( Ah well.

Does anyone know what my chances are of it moving up so I get it on the 21st instead?

Or, can I switch it to do in-store pick up instead?

I don't know how I missed it. I was just trying to hurry up and get my order in. Oh well, hopefully the genius bar will not give me any problems.
