Hey everyone, I called back again and got a different person who said all orders with the March 16th date should start processing completely between now and Wednesday night. I guess the first girl was just confused. Hope that helps! Mine is still processing!
Edit: Got my red smart cover today, they also sent a text to my mobile this morning TNT express saying the smart cover was out for delivery, which I thought was nice since I didn't have to do anything for that notification . For the record I placed my order around 6:40 am (QLD time), non engraved and it is still processing

Got a non-engraved 32gb White wifi. Ordered it at 9:36am, still processing. Hopefully it will change soon!
I called today, was told I would definitely receive Friday, Monday at the latest if there are any problems.
I ordered mine literally as soon as the pre order button appeared, but it's still processing. Seriously guys, just take a look at this: http://store.apple.com/au/browse/overlay/ipad/shipping
It doesn't matter if it's prepared for shipment or processing at this stage. If it says "Delivers between March 16-22" you will get it as soon as possible regardless of what it displays on the account!
We'll save a lot of pain if we stop refreshing the page every 2 minutes. It won't make it come any faster (or slower).

Who knows, maybe they monitor account activity and those who refresh more get it last...
*Cry* don't have the money to pre-order yet, but I'll be picking one reasonably soon. Hoping there's a few early shipments, so we can check the guts of it out
Mine got engraved, and first started shipping on the 10th (it's currently been in transit from Hong Kong for the past ≈40 hours, so I suspect that even the engraved ones are already in Sydney (It doesn't take that long to get toe Sydney from HK after all).

Was just saying, I ordered mine hours after a lot of the people in here, and mine was prepping for ship, where as theirs were still processing, which is odd.
um. twas a joke of u having an apple tattoo that is bigger than mine hence u getting urs prepared for shipping earlier than the rest of us who've ordered earlier. ohwell. lol.
