So, swiftaw, would you care to tell us how you did so well predicting this year's Oscars? Did you see a lot of these movies?

Lets see,

I have seen 0 of the 9 movies nominated for best picture, in fact the only movie I have seen that was nominated for anything was Harry Potter. 2011 was a crazy year for me so I didn't really get to the movies as much as I usually do.

I did a little research of what some of the 'experts' thought, plus I used what I had heard from movie going friends in order to make my picks.

Still shocked at the Best Actress choice.

I thought it was hilarious, there you have this immensely rich and attractive woman going to africa to adopt kids, give humanitarian help and save them from a life of starvation, and then goes and starves herself into a sick bigheaded stick. Comedy gold.

I agree she looks disgustingly too thin but she might be battling an eating disorder. It's easy to judge celebrities and oh do they know it. So it stands to reason the obsessive-compulsive tendencies with eating disorders are probably pretty prevalent with people in the spotlight. I don't pity them but I don't envy them, either.
