I didn't like either. I think Up is the most overrated Pixar film. In fact, those and Cars 2 are the only Pixar films I don't like.

Wow.. Cars is actually what got me back into looking at the history of Route 66, and the fact that my family has lived on that road my entire life. I've been on that road so many times and never realized what it was. Great history trip.

I'll give you Cars 2. Meh.

Brave won over Wreck-It-Ralph? Brave is a good story and gives us yet another Disney Princess (at least Merida has balls), but I didn't think it would have won over Wreck-It-Ralph. my kids want to watch that one all the time, and takes me down memory lane because I loved going to the video arcade, and makes me long to have those games and that era back again.

I think it's bull that Pacific Rim didn't at least get nominated for visual effects. And yet the Lone Ranger does?

Holy **** you are right! I'm thinking that traditional CGI is passe and because Gravity was in space and had some amazing catastrophic effects it got the edge and won, but no excuse that it did not get nominated. The Hobbit got a nomination, but Lone Ranger special effects? Nothing special about them, lol.

Pizza guy on Oscar delivery: 'This is really the American dream'

(CNN) -- If he looked gobstruck when he walked onstage at the Oscars, he had good reason.

Edgar Martirosyan, who might now be the world's most famous pizza deliveryman, had no clue he'd be serving Hollywood's biggest stars Sunday night.

He thought the pies were for a group of writers at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. When he got there, he was told to wait.

Then Ellen DeGeneres, who hosted the Academy Awards, came backstage and asked him to follow her.

"I didn't know," he told CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" Monday. "I was just shocked. It was a really great moment."

And there he was, in front millions of TV viewers, delivering pizzas from his store's red and yellow boxes to the likes of Brad Pitt and Jared Leto.

Martirosyan, the owner of Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria, said he was most excited to see actress Julia Roberts.

Since then, friends from all over the world have called to congratulate him.

"I'm thinking that's when you say American dream, this is really the American dream," Martirosyan said.
The 20-location chain is now doing killer business.

"All of our locations are crazy busy right now," owner Ararat Agakhanyan told the Los Angeles Times. "We had no idea that our pizzas were going to be on TV. We're ordering supplies like mad, stocking up on cheese, pepperoni, sausage and boxes and shipping them out to the different stores."

Earlier Monday, Martirosyan appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

She'd passed around a hat at the Oscars to take up a collection for his tip and gave Martirosyan a whopping $1,000 on her show Monday.
"It was really crazy for me," he said about the whole experience.

Good for that guy!

Travoltify Your Name

Have you guys tried the Adele Dazeem Name Generator? It appeared online after John Travolta mangled Idina Menzel's name as he introduced her, calling her something that sounded like "Adele Dazeem".

Hmmm... Doctor Q is "Deacon Borfes". I'm glad to see that I still have an official title.

Strangely enough, Adele Dazeem has been tweeting!

I was watching when Travolta introduced her, and I'm thinking to myself, "Johnny.. it's okay if you wear glasses!!" But he didn't, gaffed, when went down about as well as a monkey with a blowtorch stuck in a room full of dynamite.

Menzel took it in stride though.. her performance the following night on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and playing with Roots was brilliant.

I will say this though.. I kinda doubt Travolta will be getting invited to Taye Diggs' house for a party anytime soon! :p
