I ordered Premiere at 6:15am CT on 6/15.

Up until yesterday mine showed 1s in the ordered AND backordered status, but yesterday the 1s in the backordered status were removed.

Now mine shows "Shipped" with a tracking number on the regular AT&T site...but the Premiere site still shows "processing"

I wouldn't worry about it. My mom's was ordered from regular AT&T and hers hasn't shipped yet. Give it time...it will get to you.
 
Can anyone even get through to Premier? I have a credit card exception I called and corrected last week and no status change and now the number just says call back later and hangs up.
 
I ordered through AT&T as I have a FAN account. I had to place two orders to upgrade both my phone, and my wife's phone. As of this morning, it has now updated to say that my wife's phone has shipped. Mine is still backordered. I ordered both about 6:45 AM on the 15th (whenever pre-orders started).
 
Myself also. Premier customer here, ordered through Apple on the 15th and my i4 is in transit right now. Why anyone would have ordered through AT&T's site is beyond me. I guess it was all of the trolls warning every premier customer that the sky would fall if they attempted to order from Apple.

I tried odering through Apple and kept seeing the post-it note. It was about 7:00 am EDT. I got through twice, getting as far as submitting my credit card info and then getting the response that the server dropped the connection. I finally went to the AT&T site and was able to order two iPhones with no fuss. I fully expect them to arrive this Thursday.
 
I ordered through Premier at 6:30 CST on 6/15, order status was updated to show a ship date of 6/20 this morning so I expect to get it on the 24th.
 
FWIW, last year I ordered on a Premiere account and it went wonderfully. I walked into an ATT store at lunch on pre-order day and ordered. It showed up on launch day and I was in/out before 8 AM.

I was going to do the same, but the whole system was FUBAR last week. I didn't want to take a chance on them writing my info down and it getting lost. So, I ordered from Apple.
 
Im starting think it has to do with the type of account has someone previously said. Is there any way to see / change the account type WITHOUT being able to login online?

I am on a FAN/Premiere account and went into a corporate ATT store for my Gs upgrade last year and was told to try Apple as they had inventory but ATT would not for a week or two. So, I got my upgrade from an Apple store, no glitches.

Amen, buddy. I didn't even bother with ATT's site because, even on a good day, I find it quirky.

The funny thing is that I think you and I are wasting our breath here. The OP and others, despite proof, can't seem to wrap their minds around the fact that we, as Premier customers, were able to order directly through Apple. They just refuse to believe it.

Its clearly obvious that some people have been able to and others havent.

No, not untrue. It all depends on the type of Premier account you have and what kind of FAN is attached to it.

If you are able to check your eligibility through Apple, you can order through them. If you get this error message:

then you cannot order through Apple and you must order through AT&T.

Simply go to Apple.com and begin the normal ordering process to see if you are eligible for an upgrade. If you are put through to placing your order, don't worry about going to Apple store on launch day because you should be fine - Apple has access to your account. If you're like me and get the error message, then you have to order through AT&T as Apple has no authorization to access your account.

This information has been confirmed by two AT&T reps as well as an Apple customer service rep and my local in-store manager.

This information was posted on this board LONG before launch. People were warned that certain types of FAN (Premier) accounts did not authorize the sort of upgrade needed to put an i4 on the account automatically.

Your information is nothing new, and was posted many times. People should have checked their eligibility ahead of time if they wanted a phone around launch.

The OP, however, wants everyone to believe that NOBODY who has a FAN account (Premier) is able to upgrade if ordering through Apple.com. This is a patently false statement.
 
So I believe I have a premier account as I have a corporate discount. I was checking my order status thru https://www.wireless.att.com/business/order_status/ and it says ordered 6/15. I checked via the ATT site @ https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status and it give me a ordered date of 6/18.

Is this the crap everyone is talking about? Mine definitely says back ordered and this is all NEWS TO ME (unfortunately). I thought I was in the clear as I ordered 8:45am edt. My major issue is I show 2 order numbers and initially assumed the one found at https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status with an ordered date of 6/18, was just the system feeding me back an order closed to the info I entered. Anyone else order thru ATT and seeing the same thing?

I am a ATT Premiere IRU customer also. I remember the fiasco back in 2008 with ATT FANs not being allowed at apple.com. I know they fixed the problem for the 2009 3GS launch with the FANs and apple.com

So I tried apple.com at around 410am eastern time (last tuesday when the preorders when live). Apple.com kept on crashing on me. I could barely get pass the phone number, SSN check page on apple.com last tuesday.

So I went over to the ATT.com, logged into my premiere site. I placed 3 orders. However 2 of those att.com preorders kept getting confirmation emails followed by rejection emails a few minutes later. My one order placed at 436am eastern time went through. And that order now as a shipped/tracking status. However for the carrier it shows as "null" like the other posters even though it looks like a FedEx order.

So the two orders that kept on being rejected, I waited for 2 hours at the ATT corp. store to place those orders. Both of those in store preorders also show being shipped with FedEx tracking numbers also this morning.

So it's not just att.com's website. It was also apple.com's website that was crashing on everyone.

Then the OP is wrong. Im in a different situation than most because I dont have an online account. I cant get in. No username, no password.
 
Just to add, the order that states ordered 6/15, does not say back ordered, it says processed. It's the other 6/18 one that came up as backordered.

Something similar here. I ordered via premier on 6/15 @ 2:43 pm EDT and on the regular AT&T site it states order date of 6/16 with 1 in the backorder. Hope to get my phone on the 24th.

Also when I call premier it does not recognize my order number, and I cannot get through to anyone. Should I go to the store?

damn i finally was able to get my status pulled up on the reg. ATT site and i am getting the same exact thing as you.

I placed my order on pre-order day at 1am pst... f*cking RIGHT when preorders started. So much for "first come first serve" or "place in line" or whatever you want to call it?

I'm kinda bummed seeing people getting their shipped confirmations... oh well.

Yes. I'm having this problem, too. All other indicators look good, though. Order shows as processing on the Premier site. A phone call to Premier to check order status says order is processed and will ship shortly.

However, still no trackin# or shipping confirm - and I've seen no CC authorizations or charges at all.
