I agree. The same crap happened last year where the Premier people's information didn't get updated in the system as fast so everyone started panicking. I received mine on release day and I assume everyone else did because the b*tching stopped as soon as release day came. I've already said this same exact thing in many threads and yet no one wants to listen. I think they enjoy panicking for a couple weeks instead.

i remember that was happening to a lot of people last year also. it was crazy.
 
So can we confirm that no one who ordered thru AT&T has received a shipping email like the Apple.com buyers?

Umm. nope. I got mine this am. Fedex tracking number. My premier order status went to shipped. ATT website status also shows shipped. They sent me a new CSS this am too.
 
Same panic, different year.

if you ordered the morning of the 15th, you'll get your new iPhone on the 24th, no matter if you ordered it from Apple or AT&T. In past years many people's tracking information was updated AFTER they received their new iPhone. I ordered from both AT&T and Apple for the 3GS and received both on launch day. Same thing will happen this time.

I seriously hope this is my case because it's showing that my order hasn't even shipped yet.

That part doesn't concern me at all, because when I checked out on Premier it actually said "free overnight shipping," so I didn't expect for it to ship before Wednesday. I'm more so concerned that my status still says backordered.

Mine was ordered, but not shipped. I seriously hope to god I get it Thursday or Friday, because I'm getting really pissed off at myself for ordering from AT&T.

We've been a AT&T Premier customer for years. I can also confirm though that last year upgrading my wife's 3G to a 3gs at the Apple store required a conference call with AT&T due to it being a premier account.

I order our 2 phones at 5:30am EST, on a debit Visa, with a discount, all the things that people are looking for as problems, with zero problems.

They did not even check my CC, but its a business account and the debit/CC is the same that is on file.

Phones shipped today.

So are you saying I could go to the Apple store Thursday, and ask for a conference call with ATT (manager?) to clarify I am eligible?
