Same here, those are the dates that were given to me even though I placed my order on March 8th. I spoke with a guy at Apple yesterday and he said that it may end up coming before the 21st.
Mine still shows "processing order" though.

Exactly, why would they send out a tracking number that does not work. Horrible shopping experience IMO.
Apple is trying to be a smartass here thinking they can control when ups ships things, and they better be able to keep up with their promised delivery dates.

having the same problem as many of you above. ordered on the 7th, shipping notification on the 13th for delivery on the 16th. Tracking number STILL doesn't work which is extremely frustrating since the shipping notification said tracking will be updated in 12-24 hours - its been over 36 hrs. It better still arrive tomorrow or I'll be disappointed having spent so much time trying to ge the preorder to work.

-Ordered on the 8th and delivery of 16th to 20th.
-Got the shipping notification on the 12th and it states delivery on the 16th.
-have only been getting: A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.
I am thinking Apple have UPS stocked them all in "Zone1" warehouses and will be out for delivery on launch. Hence the reason of no updates at all on the shipment of package. Unless u ordered an engraved one which won't be stored locally and will be shipped from the factory.

It's not a big deal. This way I have the weekend to find a case or buy a new smart cover for it.
Same. My tracking number still isn't "active" either.
It shouldn't matter, since the shipping method is "UPS Express Saver" , which is next day delivery guaranteed (by 12:00 noon in larger cities).
So we should all be getting tracking updates sometime today.

it said so on UPS's website when u use your trackign number to track. on the right of the page.
Or else what? you will keep waiting? and be grumpy

i was so focussed on getting the ipad in my cart i didn't bother adding the SIM card.. oops. figured I could probably get one in store?

Yup that's what I did, I just went into an apple store and they gave me a sim (in my cade a telus one) at no charge
If mine says that, I'm blind... It just says "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later", with no details about shipping method or anything.
