I've been Mount Hoped as well! Now my hope is mounting (terrible, I know) that I will actually see this thing tomorrow.

Couple of interesting notes.

- UPS tracking still does not show a estimated delivery date
- I called UPS to inquire about the delivery date and they said it will show up tomorrow
- UPS also told me that even though it's going Express Saver, it's for an any time delivery (between 9 and 7 to a residential address)
- Sounds like UPS is a little tired of us calling about the iPads... lol.;)

Shipping to Red Deer, AB.

edit: What does it mean by 'Export Scan'? It's already in Canada, I'm in Canada.. what's being exported?

Ya, I'd like to know this, too.

Also, my shipping info lists my delivery as having had its "export scan" prior to being "ready for UPS"...probably just backtracking on the "ready for UPS" mention, but it was weird seeing everyone else's as the other way around.

Mine just left Mount Hope also. At 16:28, to be exact. My girlfriend had never heard me shout so loudly before haha :D

the first scan was of UPS just receiving the shipping label. I assume the export scan is apple actually dropping the ipad off at the UPS location and it being processed

Spoke with Apple. They confirmed that although these were shipped with UPS Express Saver they will not all be delivered by noon. That does not apply. Neither does Saturday deliveries.

However they did say they are confident that all iPads that are now moving within UPS's system will be delivered tomorrow (for zone 1).

if they're not able to make delivery tomorrow - does anyone know where they get held? (specifically downtown) or do they go back to concord?

Actually, Export Scans don't necessarily mean the goods are physically at that location. Mount Hope is apparently where they do all their Customs Clearance.

You don't need the physical goods present to do do this necessarily. It's just "paperwork" working it's way through the system.

Your iPad may be physically closer that you think. :D

This may be true. Apple has alluded to the fact twice (on the phone with me) that the iPads are being stored in multiple warehouses in different parts of the country.

Is it Friday yet?:D

UPS use Mount Hope's Hamilton International Airport extensively and have a 47,800 sq ft facility there. UPS do the customs processing & brokerage themselves. No, the goods aren't necessarily still there, but that's where they were cleared for entry into Canada, which means leaving the international UPS gateway at the airport and into their domestic delivery system.

For people unaware... Concord is the UPS sort center for Toronto. So technically... When it says at concord, it means Toronto.

Next stop is delivery truck.

Can anyone tell me the difference between UPS Worldwide Express and UPS Express Saver? I'm confused, because everyone here has there's being shipped by Express Saver. Am I the only person who has Worldwide Express?

Precisely. They're probably hours and possibly days behind on updating these tracks.

All I want to see is "Out for Delivery" and then "Delivered" tomorrow. All these other tracks are pretty meaningless.

Worldwide Exxpress here as well. Ipad still in Louisville KY..

Yes it was. Is it because the non engraved ones aren't directly coming from china? Therefore Apple would not need Worldwide shipping.

Bingo. I believe Apple readied stock across the launch countries ahead of time for easier/faster delivery, and the engraving still needs to be done in China.
