Hey guys,

Although Yahoo gives more info that the UPS website, I got a lot more info from:
http://www.packagemapping.com

Mine's on its way to Montreal! Woot!
It's my first iPad so I'm pretty psyched. ... OK actually I can barely breathe thinking about it.

EDIT: OK nevermind... got the same info since. Just that my package got updated while I went from one site to another! Doh! Still a pretty cool website since you don't have to guess where all the weird locations are.

Mine is now in Mississauga! Had to use Yahoo UPS tracker to see that, it doesn't show on UPS's site yet.

I wish everyone all the best tomorrow. Hope everything goes smoothly for you. I'm sure I'll see some of you in a string just like this next year for the 4th gen.:D

Anyone else stil stuck on "In Transit to Mount Hope, ON". I thought I was in the clear after The iPad's 2 night stay in Louisville. the lights are beginning to go out on tomorrow's arrival in Vancouver.

I haven't seen anything after the Export Scan and Billing Information Received @ Mount Hope at about 2 pm...

Keep your chin up.... a lot can happen during the wee hours of the morning - or at least one can hope! ;)

Still at the Mount Hope export scan for me, but I expect to see it in Vancouver tomorrow.

That said, the SIM card shipped separately just today and is showing a Tuesday delivery! Does anyone else see this? Any way I can just walk into the Apple Store or a Rogers store and get a SIM for free?

My SIM just shipped an hour ago and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I'm 45 minutes away from the warehouse it came from though.

I think you can get them for free at Apple. Rogers Plus has always wanted me to pay like $20...

Normally yes. I did that a few days ago.
But tomorrow might not be a good day to be doing that lol

Hello, fellow Kaydublian. ;)

Lol hello!

Tomorrow I'm gonna check out how busy the Conestoga mall is...I want to pick up a red smart cover while I'm there...hopefully most of the line will be gone by the afternoon.

Has anyone else gotten into the habit of refreshing the tracking page every few seconds? My iPad left Concord at 9pm and now I'm plagued with the refresh disease...

Luckily was able to swing by the Apple Store before close. Picked up a Rogers MicroSIM. The guy at the store was somewhat clueless. Had to tell him Rogers 3 times, then he brought me a Telus one. Anyway, I'm assuming the SIM should work even though I think this came from the ones they had for the iPad 2?

Mine, too. Do you think that UPS is just scanning items whenever they "feel" like it? For all we know the whole plane is just full of iPads, so maybe they just move them all in chunks.

Most of my parcels move in the middle of the night.

Rogers says for LTE it must NOT be a prepaid microsim (ie must be on a plan)

They couldn't tell me if mine would work when asked.. (postpaid microsim here) that I've been using with my iPad for the last year

You need a different SIM for the new iPad, one that will work on an LTE network. I saw another post on how Rogers were taking the SIM's back for free (and so they should) and you could get the new SIM and your details ported over to it. Didn't order the 3G version this time as I never used it and well I have an iPhone so can just use the hotspot if I really need to. :)

Mine still says Mount Hope 'In Transit'...I'm in Calgary..am losing 'hope' it'll get here. I even took tomorrow off work, which I've never done for an iDevice before...guess I'm really addicted now :)

Yeah, they definitely gave me the wrong SIM, so I guess it's back to the apple store in the morning for me. Of course, my iPad is still showing export scan only from Mount Hope.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

I was told by Rogers store clerk that existing micro sims that are in iPhone 4 and 4S do work on LTE network even iPhones are not LTE phones but the network is backward compatible to 3G. in the new iPads the sims will access LTE. Will see tomorrow but you'll need to turn on LTE in iPad settings.

Mine also says "In Transit" with the last location being Mount Hope.

Mount Hope, ON, Canada 03/15/2012 10:23 Export Scan
03/15/2012 14:18 Order Processed: Ready for UPS

...hope when I wake up tomorrow its magically in Edmonton.

What you were told was wrong. Old MicroSIM cards (series 4010) do not support LTE. Series 4030 SIMs do.

I want to be very optomistic, however mine is still in transit to mt. Hope (or should I say hopeless :(). still hoping I will wake up and it will randomly say that it's on a truck.

Tonight is going to be long night... I will post if I get anything and will call ups in the morning.

Good luck to everyone here!
