Anyone else stil stuck on "In Transit to Mount Hope, ON". I thought I was in the clear after The iPad's 2 night stay in Louisville. the lights are beginning to go out on tomorrow's arrival in Vancouver.

My SIM just shipped an hour ago and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I'm 45 minutes away from the warehouse it came from though.Still at the Mount Hope export scan for me, but I expect to see it in Vancouver tomorrow.
That said, the SIM card shipped separately just today and is showing a Tuesday delivery! Does anyone else see this? Any way I can just walk into the Apple Store or a Rogers store and get a SIM for free?

Hello, fellow Kaydublian.![]()
Normally yes. I did that a few days ago.
But tomorrow might not be a good day to be doing that lol

Luckily was able to swing by the Apple Store before close. Picked up a Rogers MicroSIM. The guy at the store was somewhat clueless. Had to tell him Rogers 3 times, then he brought me a Telus one. Anyway, I'm assuming the SIM should work even though I think this came from the ones they had for the iPad 2?

You need a different SIM for the new iPad, one that will work on an LTE network. I saw another post on how Rogers were taking the SIM's back for free (and so they should) and you could get the new SIM and your details ported over to it. Didn't order the 3G version this time as I never used it and well I have an iPhone so can just use the hotspot if I really need to.![]()
I was told by Rogers store clerk that existing micro sims that are in iPhone 4 and 4S do work on LTE network even iPhones are not LTE phones but the network is backward compatible to 3G. in the new iPads the sims will access LTE. Will see tomorrow but you'll need to turn on LTE in iPad settings.
