Anyone know if we can specify a shipping time? I ordered it and it says delivery for march 16th, but I'm at work until 2:00pm. I wonder if I can ask Fedex or UPS to only deliver it after 2:00pm. It would suck to have to wait till the Monday the 19th.

I find it funny that most of Saskatchewan is included in Zone 1 according to that map - but I'm not complaining.

I was able to order myself a white 64GB Wi-Fi model about an hour after the announcement ended and got my confirmation about a half hour later, though the website was still being finicky and I knew of others who were still unable to get through. Also included the new Apple TV, and this is my first time purchasing either an iPad or ATV, so I'm pretty excited!

Sorry to burst you bubble, but Apple usually ships UPS to Canada. Not saying they won't, but my last 3 orders from Apple were all UPS.

You're not bursting anything, all non priority items and stuff for the stores usually ships with UPS, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people see FedEx at their doors in the upcoming weeks.

I spent several hours fighting with the Apple Store App to get mine through, but it finally did around 5:30 Eastern. I hope I get it on the morning of the 16th, my schedule doesn't allow me much time at home to receive it otherwise.

Has anyone who pre-ordered in Canada had their shipment changed from 'processing items' to 'preparing for shipment'? If so, please mention whether yours was engraved or not.

Mine is still 'processing items' and it is not engraved.

Ordered at shortly before 4 PM EST March 7, and still processing. 64 GB Black 4G.

North Vancouver, BC and mine is still processing. I like that they are sending it via UPS and I'm not going to be home on the 16th, but in that even it will be left at the UPS Store not to far so I can wake up early on Saturday and grab it.

Provided all goes well. I am getting a little nervous as it has not yet been processed.

Mine also changed to "Preparing for Shipment". 32G WiFi+4G, white, no engrave. I am @Vancouver.

The rogers SIM and ATV are still "Processing".

my order is at "Preparing for Shipment and I ordered a black 16gb wi-fi 2 hours after the keynote and I am from Vancouver

32 gig 4G, white, engraved ordered about 5 hours after keynote. Shipped(changed today)

Mine is still 'processing items'.. hopefully it switches soon!

cueru I'm in Regina also!

Ordered 16GB wifi on 8 Mar 2012.

Checked status today, says processing and ETA is 21 March 2012 via standard shipping.

Guess I didn't order it soon enough to guarentee a 16th delivery :)

Agonized a tonne over whether to go with 32GB or 16GB. In the end I note that my current iPad has 16GB and space isn't an issue.

If you live in the Toronto area, last time for the 4S orders, lots of people didn't get them on Friday (launch day). Most people got them on Monday. Hopefully we get it on launch day this time though! Mine's still "processing".

Mine is still processing. Ordered at 4pm EST on launch day. 32GB wifi.

Ditto. In Montreal.

Last time I pre-ordered the 4S (16GB, White) the minute pre-orders opened and I didn't receive it until the Monday (as opposed to the Friday).

Really, really hoping that doesn't happen again.

The thing that was different with the 4S launch was that Apple stated: "Ships by: October 14", that's why we received it on the following Monday. For the iPad launch, Apple stated "Delivers by: March 16-20" and if you look at the map I posted on the first page, it shows which date you are going to receive it if your order states "Delivers by: March 16-20".
