That really sucks man. I can't believe they wouldn't bring it into the country as soon as they could to for sure avoid any customs ************. Did you get quoted the same 16-20th date when ordering and the 16th in your shipping notification email? I thought I remember that the engraving had a long delivery time and that's why I skipped it.

Maybe it's true about the delayed tracking. Sounds like this is a really exceptional shipment for UPS and Apple is trying to control the whole thing (as usual :rolleyes:). I just don't get why shipping has to be so secretive.

Well I was quoted the 27th of march. But I knew it wasn't going to be that late when I got the shipping notice on the 11th. Then it said in transit to mt. Hope. Then when I refreshed 5hrs later, it was in Buffalo. I'm calling ups in the morning to figure out where it really is. I hate ups.

New MicroSIMs were sent a few weeks ago to the stores with the LTE branding. MicroSIMs stopped using the breakout style quite a while ago. The two styles are totally separate cards now. At my store, I don't even think we have any normal SIMs anymore, we just use LTE ones for every device.

I got a new iPhone 4S from work a couple weeks ago that came with an LTE microsim. I didn't even clue in at the time, but what other reason would they have to start using those, other than the new iPad having LTE? (it is still just iPhones/iPads that use microsims in Canada right?)

The new Razr uses a MicroSIM, and so does the Nokia Lumia 710. But yeah, when I first saw the memo that we would be receiving the LTE SIMs, I was the first person to mention to my co-workers that "There's got to be a LTE iPad coming out!!!" And did a happy dance... :eek:
 
Oh god... Ups is trying again... From buffalo to mt hope... Praying for the iPad to actually end up in mt hope.
 
Hopefully, it is now actually on its way to Mount Hope.

Lol... Mac, I will cherish the moment when that box arrives.. If the iPad ends up in Vancouver, I will forgive ups. As long as its here tomorrow.

Google maps says that by road mount hope to buffalo is 1hr 30mins... Sooo. Maybe tomorrow?

No, I never had a delivery date from UPS.

Man, some guy is tweeting from the store nearby me. 18 people in line so far.

not very hopeful

Mine just left Hamilton at 23:30MST, 4 hour flight, might be on the truck when it leaves at 7am.
Why does Apple continue to use Friday as a launch date? If we miss it there goes the weekend of waiting.
 
The news is talking about the iPad lineups around me. I should turn the tv off... Doesn't seem like there's a lot of people.

Funny, i had a eta of Monday and now it's gone.
