Adding on to this, my husband emailed me a picture of the note they left. Apparently this "first attempt" was also the ONLY attempt - it said "FINAL delivery" on the card. I guess maybe for Apple products they don't want them on the vans for days as they try to deliver and are sending them to safe places (the retail locations) to be picked up?

Mine went from mount hope, to Winnipeg, to Calgary, to Richmond all in one night.
Monday is the day for me! I guess everybody else has there's somewhere in the vicinity of where they live.

I ordered in the evening of March 8th, and got in the second batch, (Ships by March 19, delivers by 21st), and all my accessories are here, but my iPad is still in "Processing"...hasn't even changed to "Preparing for Shipment" yet.
I'm a little worried as I'm hearing some people that ordered on the 11th have already got their order shipped.
Btw, 32 GB Black 4G with no engraving.
Mine has shipped now from China. Currently in Hong Kong. At first it said it'd ship by Monday but now it's moved to Thursday. I think it'll deliver somewhere in between there

The demand hasn't been too bad. I managed to go to future shop and get the last 64gb wifi white iPad for my mom last night. I think the pre orders helped with the in store demand.
I think that there was more demand for the iPad pre orders than the in store ones!
Seeing how they don't promise launch day delivery outside of the US it seems, I sat this one out (waited till the following Monday for my 4S) so I just went to the Apple store at 10 Am asked if they had any, guy said they had lots, walked out with a 64Gb wifi/4G on launch day.
My iPad is still in transit to Edmonton. Oh where are you my little iPad. Curious though why the online tracking said it was unloaded in Edmonton, but then later in the morning the tracking said it departed Calgary for Edmonton. Oh, well, at this point I don't care as long as I get it on Monday.

Mine doesn't show anything about Winnipeg or Calgary. It is just "in transit to Edmonton" from Mount Hope. I would assume my package is along with yours, though....
Are you guys finding new iPads easy to find in stores? Future Shop is showing that they still have all models available in stores still.
I picked up the last iPad 64gb white wifi only last night a future shop. Stock was pretty good considering it was launch day. But they are probably running low by now.
Well, I'm still waiting for mine. Bad shipping info (caused by Apple) on Friday, corrected Friday early afternoon. No delivery at all on Saturday, despite UPS Saver saying they deliver on Saturdays by 1:30 AND Apple saying they would be delivering mine on Saturday. I'm calling Apple today and UPS (since it's closed on weekends) tomorrow to "express my unhappiness."

Well...my engraved iPad (ordered on the 8th) is in transit to Mount Hope and just scanned and left Buffalo. When it arrived in Louisville this afternoon I knew it had to make it to Mount Hope. I am coming to grips with it not arriving tomorrow in Calgary. How are you getting ETA's? I have the UPS iPhone app telling me where it is but not when it is expected.
Tonight the status changed from "In Transit" to "In Transit on Time" and below it gave a delivery date. If it just says In Transit then it won't give an ETA. Unless yours ships from Mount Hope in the next few hours then it is slim chances to get it tomorrow, since it seems to have to go to Winnipeg first and it sort of needs to get to Calgary in the morning for it to be on the delivery truck. I ordered mine on the 7th. Mine is still in the aether somewhere but expect it tomorrow.
Ditto here... when I checked this morning it now says "In Transit on Time" with scheduled delivery for today. The tracking info hasn't been updated... the last scan was the Departure Scan from Louisville on Friday. Hopefully it will actually show up today!
In Halifax, Purolator handles UPS deliveries and I've never had a problem with them. UPS is supposed to start running their own trucks in Halifax at some point in the near future, but as of last week it was still Purolator (they delivered two other accessory items I ordered from Apple).

Oh UPS, this is getting rediculous. There is no way that it would have taken 2 days to ship from Calgary to Edmonton. Well, I guess I will see my iPad tomorrow, since it now needs to go from Edmonton to Grande Prairie. Sigh!

Supposed to be delivered this Thursday, which means I can go pick it up after work on Friday. Just in time for the weekend.
Unfortunately I can't take time off work to stay home to pick up a delivery. I wish I could have just told them to take it to the depot for that day.... sucky thing is that you normally can't pick it up on the same day they attempt delivery because it is still on the truck til the end of the day...
If I had known how easy it would be to get one in store this time around, I wouldn't have pre-ordered...
