Mac Mac is right. There is no real perk of pre ordering then is there? I thought this would save me time not give me a headache.

Wondering if you've had any movement? I think our ipads finally split, as mine arrived at Concord earlier and is now en route to Ottawa! Will definitely be here for Monday.

Since mom has to come into the city to get SIM and UPS always delivers before noon, I will have it late aft. monday! Not bad(for a free ipad2! that is)

I tried to convince her to give me it tonight but she couldn't be without it for 2 days.
 
MY 16GB WIFI + 4G FINALLY CHANGED TO "PREPARING FOR SHIPMENT"!!!!!!! it's been a long wait since March 8th.

THERE IS HOPE!!!!
 
It came during supper! Booya!

Now I can see why people like keeping it without a case, I'm coming from an iPad 1 with the Apple case. Damn. This is purdy.

I'm out of town but was tracking it all day.

Instead of it going back to Concord like they told me it would the other day on the phone, it was taken to a UPS retail store (which I didn't think they would do for an Apple product). It's 5 minutes away from my house so my hubby is headed off there tomorrow to collect it for me!

Gah just spent an hour over the phone with Telus getting set up for the Flex plan for me new Ipad... I swear those folks don't know anything about setting up ipads..
Anyways had to do it over the phone as the online registration kept giving me errors.
Finally all set up now, and a happy camper!

You can do it online?! Hopefully next week it'll be working again. I'd rather not talk to a CSR. I wonder if you can text them, instead.
 
thanks UPS guy! (no sarcasm)

My wife was home alone for a while this afternoon, on the lookout for the UPS guy. I came home and checked my tracking. It said that the first attempt was made for the iPad and AppleTV but that the Rogers LTE SIM card was left at the door. I checked outside again and nothing was there. Fuming, I assumed they tried the wrong house.

I went back in and began calling UPS to bring it to their attention. While I was on the phone I went back outside to see if maybe they left my SIM at a neighbour's house. While I was outside I looked down the street and saw a UPS truck driving through the neighbourhood. I started waving my arms to get the driver's attention. He pulled right up in front of the house and, before I had a chance to say much he said he had made a mistake and left my SIM at the wrong house. This was at about 6pm. Even though his day was nearly over he went back once he realized his mistake to correct the problem. He said he didn't think it was fair for me to wait until Monday because of his mistake. Nice. :) I was pretty thankful he corrected things himself.

He said he knew what the items were too; he said he had about 30 to deliver today.

Anyway, thanks UPS guy. Have a good weekend.

Still waiting For that iPad in mount hope. However, I have done something horrible... I went to future shop and picked up the Last 64 gb iPad with wifi for my mom. The retina display is meh. That's all I will say.
 
I am still waiting for mine to leave Mount Hope. I am still annoyed that it did not get here today because it had more than enough time to get to Edmonton for today. If everything is the same for tonight as the rest of the week it should be leaving Mount Hope anytime now, with a stop in Winnipeg and then to Edmonton. Just wish my email shipping confirmation had not said March 16, it got my hopes up.:(

Our iPads should now be on the move again. Hopefully should be delivered on Monday. :D

So that's means some zone z1 folks didn't get their iPads today?
Mine was delivered pretty late - around 7:30 pm
I had left for dinner and at this time assumed it will come on Monday.
 
I nearly peed myself! My iPad is in transit to Richmond (Vancouver international )

Just as a quick review, ups won't do a Saturday deliveries unless we pay right?

Someone posted the FlightAware link yesterday. I first checked UPS flights. There's actually a link for that, but it seems to only show US and some international flights. Maybe those are actual UPS planes. So I checked general flights enroute to Edmonton but none were from Hamilton (Mount Hope). Then since I knew my Smart Cover went to Winnipeg first, I clicked on the Winnipeg airport and lo and behold, a flight from Hamilton to Winnipeg leaving at 1:17!
