Yea, I thought about this as well and not changing it. Odds are I will have to pick it up on saturday.

Usually items get a status as shipped before they really are, Apple has these packing slips and they assign your tracking number before UPS picks them up from apple. Once UPS picks it up you will be able to see a location on your tracking page.
Mine is still being prepared for shipping, 64gb 4G shipped to Calgary :(
 
Tracking number works on UPS now. Hasn't been picked up yet.

Man, Friday can't come fast enough!

Just noticed the Shipping Type, "UPS Express Saver", apparently it's next business day by 12 noon in most metropolitan areas.
 
I didn't get that email....stuck in Preparing for Shipment, but I'm not worried as I ordered early and am in the first batch.
 
Sweet Holy Mother of Pearl! Just got my shipping notification this morning.

Ordered immediately after the website came up the second time. White 32GB 4G model. Shipping to Edmonton. Phoned in yesterday to request a Telus SIM card be included on the order, and they found a way to do that, which was really nice.

Tracking number is still invalid in the UPS system.

Yeah I have been stuck in Preparing for Shipment since Thursday afternoon ....
Hasn't moved since ....

I ordered one hour after presentation .... I guess I should get it Friday ... As it still says that the delivery is between 16-20 march

No one I know has seen that email. My friend ordered a little before me and has gotten his shipping confirmation already. I'm wondering if mine might be in a warehouse somewhere in Canada already. He went Wifi and I opted for 4G. It really could just be a case of "x number" of each model were already in warehouses, and anything beyond that is coming from China, and hence those shipping notifications go out earlier.
 
Mine finally shipped this morning! Should receive it friday... And my smart cover should arrive in any minutes.
 
Mine has switched to shipped as well! I wonder where ours are going to be coming from...it seems a little late to be coming from China. I read something the other day saying the non engraved preorder stock was already in the States, so that would make sense.

16 gb wifi black shipped to Toronto
Ordered around 4ish on launch date.
 
Got my cover delivered about an hour ago. UPS guy said he will bring the Ipad tomorrow. I have no idea if he knows what he's talking about or not. Just passing on what he told me. I'm in Winnipeg.

I just received my "shipped" notification at 11am EST. I pre-ordered the morning after the announcement, around 7am. 32GB 4G going to Ottawa. My mom ordered the same, about an hour after I did and she just received her notification as well for a shipment to Victoria. Both are stated as March 16th delivery.
 
Ordered ~ 2pm CST on product announce day.

Black 64gb 4g iPad shipped, tracking number not active yet
Black leather smart cover received it about 2 hours ago at workplace
Thunderbolt > HDMI cable shipped, in my city, delivered tomorrow
Apple TV shipped, tracking number not active yet

Carrier is UPS. Just talked to Apple, and no brokerage fees charged on UPS deliveries originating from Apple Canada store.

Got my shipping notification this morning for my 64GB White Wi-Fi iPad, also received my dock and smart cover today. Still waiting for my Apple TV to ship.
