Hi everyone!
I Preordered on March 8th around 8:30pm (I'm in Toronto), but my order status still says Processing items.
Just wondering if there's anyone here from Toronto who has received a Shipping notification?

Good news is, for us Canadians...the UPS service used guarantees delivery before 12 Noon on Friday 😀
Is the 16th guaranteed only for those who ordered on March 7? When I ordered, mine said "Leaves Apple by March 19. Receive by March 21).
My UPS status still says "ready for ups", which it said that on march 12. Who knows when il get it.

And mine... still just has the UPS shipping label created. Trying not to panic. 😉
Is there a source for the claim that they're guaranteed to arrive by noon? If so, that makes my life a *lot* easier, as I'm going nuts trying to find someone to be at my place to sign for it if it shows after 3...
On the right hand side of the tracking page it says "Shipped By UPS Express Saver" if you click through it reads:
"Delivery Commitment Next business day delivery by 12:00 noon to most metropolitan areas. Saturday delivery by 1:30 p.m. available to*specific destinations"

I don't think anyone has tracking info further then the label being created. It's either; a) Apple has a deal with UPS to not update tracking until tomorrow or b) they are being picked up tomorrow since its overnight shipping/delivery by noon in metropolitain areas. Option B would go a long way to explain the zones on the map, the zones other than 1 are not overnight shipping destinations for UPS.

Question (first time buying an apple product from their site). If I am not home on Friday (have to work), will they try to deliver on Saturday?
i'm hoping they leave a notice at the door and i can go pick it up from the ups office after work

I've seen many in the USA and I think a couple in Canada threads that have been quoted "Shipping by March 19th" who have already had theirs shipped. It seems to depend on the model, but it's a possibility. At least that's what I'm telling myself.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with a shipping label created message. Ordered mine day of, got the shipping notice this past Monday, and still nothing on the tracking number. Though my original receipt from Apple says it will be delivered between the 16th and the 20th, the shipping notice email said it will be delivered on Friday. I sure hope the latter is accurate 😕
not sure how specifically UPS works, but I recall some of the other couriers you wouldn't be able to pick it up until the next day (if the depot is open). this is because the trucks have to get the package back to the depot at the end of their day. who knows if that means after the depot has already closed.
I've had luck picking it up the day of before (though I forget which carrier it was). I called to check, and the operator pretty much said "you can try, but there's no guarantee it'll be there." Luckily for me it was.

I don't often get items delivered via UPS, so I'm not sure of their policy with picking up packages. I won't be home until after 5:30pm on Friday so I'll most likely miss the delivery. Does anyone know how long I have to wait to pick it up from a UPS facility? I hope it's not until the next morning.
Can we request for an afternoon delivery? Before noon is too early for many of us I think.
I'm in Toronto, ordered on the 9th. 64gb 4g white no engraving. It seems like we're in the second batch. I also asked them to deliver to work. I was thinking it was cuz I ordered it with a telus sim card. It makes me feel better that I'm not the only one tho 🙂.

alright! looks like there'll be someone at the house on friday so hopefully i'll be ok to receive my shipment3 with retina display!
