16GB 4G Shipped this afternoon to Toronto.

Ordered on the 9th... Got the shipping notice on the 10th. iPad currently in louisville. The iPad is being shipped to Vancouver. 64 gb iPad with wifi with engraving...

Anyone in Winnipeg? I talked to the UPS guy today (he was delivering my smartcover). He says he's got a van full of new iPads and will be delivering them Thursday and Friday. So anyone in Winnipeg that pre-ordered it early should either be getting it a day early or right on Friday. just FYI.

Got my cover delivered about an hour ago. UPS guy said he will bring the Ipad tomorrow. I have no idea if he knows what he's talking about or not. Just passing on what he told me. I'm in Winnipeg.

I just went to 7-11 to pick up a pack of smokes and low and behold a ups truck pulls up. I asked when they will be delivering the new Ipads and he also said either tomorrow or Thursday. He said it will definitely be ahead of the official release date. Again it's only anecdotal evidence but that's 2 different drivers I've talked to who pretty much said the same thing.

Just curious as to how they could possibly be delivered tomorrow or Thursday when most tracking numbers are providing:
A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.

Or are some people's already showing that they've arrived in their home city?

My ups tracking says " order processed: ready for UPS"
Again I'm only passing on the info from the drivers. They could be totally wrong. I have no idea!

Yes, I have refreshed mine a number of times, same result.

If they released information about the zones in Canada, I am inclined to beleive that they have some special arrangement with UPS to not allow scanning or something. Otherwise, how do they know it's zones so well. Logistics isnt that cut and dry is it? Either way...I still have my trusty ipad1, although slow. It will be a nice upgrade, but I wont die if it doesnt get here soon.

This is the stuff dreams are made of! Haha, seriously, that would be great. I'm in zone 2 just across the man.-ont. border, so maybe this means I'll actually get mine on Friday.

Wouldn't it be great though to be a UPS driver and totally mess with people about this?

I would be inclined to agree with you. Apple must have some special deal worked out.

Considering the following:

- Majority of orders got shipping notifications yesterday, there is no way all those orders went all day today without being picked up by UPS
- Apple sent out that email today (that I guess most of us didn't get) that mentioned tracking would not be available until the 15th
- 2 different drivers in Winnipeg apparently stated that they will have the iPads tomorrow (I don't believe they would have the go ahead to deliver, but maybe they will out of ignorance)

Anyway, I think we should all see our iPads on time as per the zones, regardless of UPS/Apple status, provided you were quoted the 16th-20th delivery window. It would be cool to see them delivered early, but I would expect that it will be few and far between, if we see it happen at all.

I'm just glad I'm not the only one constantly refreshing and being unproductive this week!:D

Yup, in the Peg. Also got my Smart Cover today, but a recptionist at work took delivery of it, so I didn't have a chance to bug the UPS guy :)

Just wondering if anyone else got a "delivers Mach 19" NOT "ships march 19"..

Ordered 1-2 hours after keynote, product was shipped on the 9th, am definitely in zone 1, but for some reason am getting a "delivers March 19". and :(

Got notification email from Apple around 4:00am this morning. It says

Shipment Information
Left Apple:
13 Mar, 2012

Receive it:
16 Mar, 2012

But for the whole day, I could not get the tracking information from UPS.

Yes, for some reason Apple sent me a separate email from the "your item has shipped" one, telling me I won't be able to track it until the 15th, even though it was shipped on the 12th. Anyone else get that email?

I haven't received that. Would you mind posting a screenshot of the email? :)

Mine finally updated demo "Processing Items" to "Preparing for Shipment". hopefully see some change tomorrow, I really don't want to wait in line on Launch day.

Here's the text of the email (minus the duplicate in French):

Dear Apple Customer,
Thank you for your recent online order at the Apple Store. We appreciate your business.
We want to confirm that your original delivery date of March 16th, 2012 is correct.
Tracking information for this order will be available starting March 15th. On or after this date, you can click the Track Shipment button on your original Shipment Notification email, or you can check the delivery status of your order by visiting the Apple Store and clicking Account.
Thanks for your time and for shopping with Apple.
Sincerely,
The Apple Online Store

EDIT: I should note that I CAN click track shipment but all it says is that a label has been created or something.

Well mine was shipped to Calgary yesterday 11 am but it just says : Ready for UPS
Bell SIM Card shipped last night but this has some info. it is at Colorado ON. I find it weird they ship a SIM card across the country while they are available at any local Bell store.
I went with Bell cause with Telus tey are the ones offering 4G in Calgary but Bell throws in access to their Hotspots.
Telus are the only people offering 500MB 4G plan for 20$. Still I may go for TE 5GB for 35$.

Why not go with one of the flex plans. I think the max for telus is still $35 for 5Gb. That way you'd only be paying min $5 each month for those months you don't use data.
