It sure does, but think about this: No more rumor spanning about the release date of the most insignificant release ever!
Well technically it is until Sept. 23rd. Just saying.
Also it seems really odd to actually 'launch' these this late in the products cycle doesn't it?
This "white" iPhone frenzy reminds me of pigs feeding at a trough.

I believe new grammar rules do not require an apostrophe to denote a quantity greater than one. Hope that makes sense.

Why. There will always be a need of a last gen iPhone. Whats going to be 99 dollars when 5 comes out. And Sept (if its true) is still 5 months away. And lets not forget that companies come out with new phones every month. Why cant apple. Though they only make one device. I think I can forgive them if they introduce a minor update before a new version comes out. Most people that wont have a iPhone 4 wont get this. But if you don't then now you have 2 options. Get it now or wait for next version. We are adults we can make decisions.

i have almost every apple product available minus an iphone. i have been using this POS blackberry because my verizon contract doesnt end till may 10th.
so now i have to decide if i should go ahead and get an iphone now or wait it out. my bberry is on its last leg. i told myself i would get the white iphone for sure if it was coming in 64gb but doesnt look like that will happen. ugh.

Why does the phone look so thick on the package?
First thing that came to mind when I saw these pictures.
So I wonder, when the iPhone 5 comes out, if being CDMA/GSM combined will free up some space in the product line that they'll then fill with more colors.
Just like black is a slimming color, white is a fattening color. True. We paint our teams carbon composite bike frames white, and they look big and puffy and smooth like marshmallows, but the production models are natural composite (mostly black) under clearcoat, and look almost skinny by comparison.

How quickly we forget! Somehow, we do. My black iPhone 4 is a piece of crap as a phone, simply because, unlike my 3GS, it face-dials (thats after being exchanged and after software "fixes") and it needed a bumper to work properly and not to drop calls. Again, as a mobile phone 3GS runs circles around it. So, no matter what colour thy paint it, it is a piece of crap, unless the proximity sensor and antennae issues are fixed for good. Now, it is a lot cheaper to just keep churning up faulty devices than to roll up your sleeves and fix the problems, right?

Well, after my wife's first iPhone 4 was replaced (yeah I know), her existing one has worked as expected.
Some of you are right about the size. Look at the first picture. It's VERY thick and almost distorted. I thought maybe the picture was stretched, but the Apple logo looks correct. Probably just a bad print. They look normal in the other pic.
I'll bite. Where I live, "soon" means something in the neighborhood of a month or two. Certainly before the summer starts and I start going on road trips to the beaches and the mountains and visiting friends in other cities, and spending time out and about in this big city where I live.
I've been following the rumors on this site and here is what they are: the earliest we know Apple may *announce* the new iPhone will be September. It's reasonable to assume it will not be available immediately after the announcement, and it's also reasonable to assume that it would take a few weeks to get one once you can place an order. So we are looking at something like... oh, October or November. And what would that new iPhone even have over the existing one? Not only am I not impressed by the rumored changes, I'm not even impressed by people's wish lists!
Given all that, would it really be better for me to spend the rest of this spring, summer, and the nice weeks of the fall using my beat up old 3G, just so that I can have a "slightly better than iPhone 4" while sitting at home during the winter?
I think not. Definitely not.
