Which hub do you work at? I don't suppose it's the Tualatin one, is it? If my phone IS coming via UPS, will I be able to (using UPS My Choice) pick it up that morning and not wait for it to be delivered at my place?

I work at the big hub on Swan Island. Yes, you should be able to. I posted somewhere on this forum about how the process for "holding for pickup" works. In short, if the package is processed throughout the hub and eventually reaches the loaders, but the customer wants to hold for pickup, they'll get a loud message on their scanners that reads "INTERCEPT," and at that time they take it out of the trailer and "sweepers" come by to pick it up. Not sure what happens from there, but it goes to the Customer Center right next door to be held for the customer.

Thanks. It's good to know that once I see a tracking number (whenever that happens!), I can go ahead and request I pick it up at a hub and not have to wait until it actually moves.

I believe you have to wait until it is in transit to hold for pickup at a Customer Center. But yeah, choose for pickup at a CC rather than the store.

Mine went back to preparing for shipment. It's kind of weird that Friday it showed preparing for shipment and yesterday it went back to processing and today it's back to preparing for shipment. Gotta love the apple preorder madness haha

Does UPS work the same way? I am off on friday's, but I prefer not to have to wait at home all day.

I was actually referring to UPS lol. But yes as long as it's in transit you should be good to hold for pickup at a CC.

It changed
