You can return it after you receive it. You cannot cancel an order that has already been given to the courier service for delivery..
 
Mine just changed to Preparing for Shipment as well, iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Silver AT&T, ordered at 0400 EST.
 
Has anyone who ordered a T-Mobile one from Apple.com get a preparing for shipment yet? I ordered a T-Mobile iPhone 6 from Apple and have it for in store pickup and its still processing.
 
Apple should let all the preorders be delivered on Thursday to help ease the load on everyone trying to activate at once...

OK, maybe not, its just a sad attempt at hoping to get it early.

I believe they did this for the iPhone 4. So its possible..

Getting it a day early to ease activation queue. I'm willing to make that sacrifice.
 
I'm a little worried now, my friends order which I placed later than mine is preparing for shipment and has the money taken from my account while my order is still "processing" but still says 9/19 delivery and no money has been taken out

I'm getting a bit worried too. I ordered at 330 am ET and promptly got a processing order email. Still no change or email update. The credit card charge is still pending aswell :(

Same for me, I always get nervous when other peoples start showing shipping before me, and ordered after me. Then mine eventually shows it and I realized I worried for nothing.:)
 
Apple order

Mine has prepared to ship too. 64gig AT&T iphone6+. Delivery date 9/19!! :):apple:

That's weird. Not trying to make it worse but I would be worried as well. I was charged for both that I pre ordered 2 hours after 3am. Hmmm

Yesssss, mine says preparing for shipment on apple order status. With the 9/19 date on both of them. ****ing awesome.
 
Changed to preparing for shipment, full bal pending on cc.

Shipment date 11/7 - 11/29

Bah!! :(
