I have recieved shipping information to DHL. I thought Apple shipped with UPS? Or will it be handed over to UPS at a later stage

Now about 70 hours, still nothing...
Finally! The package has been scanned in Amsterdam and delivery estimate updated from 7th to 3rd

I don't believe that I could have it tomorrow... I'm guessing monday 6th.

Any news @SecuritySteve

Loving mine been playing last two days ... amazing
Yes, my laptop arrived on July 31st, right at the edge of their original deadline. The machine works great ...

except for a strange pixel fluttering on Discord. I'm not sure what the deal is ... maybe when Mojave comes out it'll overwrite whatever library / driver is causing the issue. Not a big deal anyway.

I'm loving the new touch bar, more than I thought. It is very convenient for Xcode refactoring, and stepping into functions.

As for performance, my laptop is a beast. I haven't tested or even installed any games on it yet, but the processor screams compared to my old 2015 laptop. Definitely a massive improvement.

All in all, I'm very happy with the system. I look forward to showing it off to some friends this weekend.

Which country are you in?

Mine (UK) was dispatched a few hours ago and is UPS, as was my MacBook Air in 2013. I work about two miles from the East Midlands UPS depot but I usually have to wait until the next day for them to process it to their drivers!

I'm in Denmark.
The first scan (information received) was done in Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Still waiting for the package to actually move.

Man, I got so excited, I checked and it was going to deliver today. But now it's back to August 7 (better than the 8 it was showing). Doesn't help it's a long weekend, or it would have been here on the 6th. Oh well, get to enjoy last few days of my late 2013 model!

Mines should be delivered on the 7th. So stoked. Had no idea it was coming all the way from China! Last 2 computers I got were from Apple Stores. Hopefully my computer's defect free!

I ordered i9/32gb/1tb/560 last Thursday. Apparently it’s the most ordered configuration since that’s configuration has the longest shipping date. According to Apple my shipping date would be 10-14.

However, just now I just found out that I need to to fly for business trip on Aug 14 and the plane is leaving at 0:30. So that’s half day before aug 14 shipping deadline.

What are the chances that I would get that unit on Aug 13? I live in CA.

I’ve been studying the i9 delivery schedule and I reckon it’s 50/50. It’ll either turn up on the 13th or it won’t.

Picked up mine from Fedex this morning. Purchased the base model with a 512gb SSD. Got everything up to date on my mac in about an hour or so. Really stoked about my purchase. MBP operating so far so good, although keys get hot after watching youtube full screen while it being plugged in. Not a problem. Going to start video editing soon. Hopefully everything hold up!

Just called Apple support. I’m surprised to find out that BTO i9 MacBook Pro is build/assembly in Apple warehouse in California. Does anyone know about this ?

Mine was scheduled for delivery today, but no dice. Even with paying for the faster shipping. I mean it still falls within the original estimated delivery window, but a bit annoying when FedEx says today before 12PM, and it's been sitting at their facility 2 hours away for the last 10 hours

Tomorrow I suppose.

These are the huge performances I see when I have upgraded from my 4 year old Thinkpad to the 13-in MBP. Crazy numbers frankly. Gonna be great!

PS: The percentages are in reference to the E440 (my old machine)

I didn't know which post to update so just putting it out there again. I had to return this 13-in MBP because it had Bluetooth connectivity issues and after making a visit to my local Apple store, the Genius determined that the Bluetooth chip was faulty and that I could either return the laptop for a full refund or wait for replacement motherboard to be swapped into this machine which could take 3-4 weeks or longer. I chose the former option and using my refund, I purchased the same exact config.

It is now once again in the "Preparing to Ship" stage and thus why I am here on this thread once more. The only difference: I chose Express Shipping instead of standard and ponied up the extra $8.

Order placed: 8/7
ETA: 8/13 - 8/15

NOT AGAIN :(

NOT AGAIN :(

Hey man! It's all good. This is only my second laptop. In other words, I am replacing the laptop with the faulty Bluetooth chip mentioned in the post that I quoted.

It took me some time to order this new laptop because the refund didn't process until Tuesday of this week.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for the best this second time around.

PS: I also decided to cough up the extra $8 for express shipping because I am not waiting another 10 business days for my new MBP!

How did you figure out that your first laptop had a Bluetooth problem? Maybe I should test mine?
