Last year, UPS changed their website to hide a lot of information, probably because so much shipping was delayed. But the app still has the goods.
I had been tracking via "track by reference number" on my Mac at the UPS site (not app) and only could get bare-bones info. I just now opened the UPS app and front and center ... the shipment from AI .. tracking number and full tracking!! It's in ZhengZhou ... Yay ... Thanks for the recommendation of using the UPS app!

I think you have to be enrolled in the UPS My Choice and signed in for it to work. For the "reference number" I put in my phone number of the phone being shipped. I didn't use dashes. For the date range I put Sept. 17 to Sept. 20. The best way to do this is with the UPS app. With the app, you'll get the full tracking number and info.

I’ve noticed that some of you are getting shipping info while others are not. Last year, I got the shipping notice the day before it arrived and it looks like mine is going to be the same as last year. I ordered as soon as I could and I have UPS my choice as well and still nothing. I’m not concerned in the least but it’s just interesting that some are and some are not getting the shipping updates.
Are you using the UPS My Choice app? If you have the app ... you should see the shipment right there automatically. Otherwise you have to track by reference number and put in your phone number (no dashes). Sometimes Apple ships by FedEx, also, and maybe that is the situation for you ?
Yup. As I posted I am using the UPS my choice app. Oh well, I’m not overly concerned just interesting to me.
If you are registered with UPS My Choice, you can go to the UPS app and the shipment should pop up on the screen. If you are using the desktop version of UPS My Choice you can Track by Reference and put in your phone number without dashes. It will show where the pkg. is but will not provide the tracking number.
Generally it will continue to show Preparing to Ship until it reaches the last destination before delivery.
It will actually changed to Shipped once it clears customs at Worldport in Louisville and receives an Import Scan.
