I can't believe he's quoting APPLECARE DATA....seriously, first he needs to quote what percentage of iphone 4 users actually have applecare. It's probably below less than 1% too.

Every iPhone owner (within 1st year) has free and included AppleCare... who do you think you're calling when you have a problem?

So what is statement Apple is getting at for the last 20 min? To f--- off?

What is the solution? In-store fix?

How pointless is that 0,55% number? I knew calling them would lead to nothing so i didn't. i would have if I knew they were using this as evidence...

6% returns for 3GS
1.7% returns for i4

How about a gross number?

Oh biy Steve, haven't returned because you will make it right in some way.....don't disappoint a fanboy!

Agreed, these data are absolutely misleading. Kind of insulting, actually. Plus, let's not forget the people who never called because they knew it wouldn't do any good at this point...

no one was returning because they were waiting to see what Apple was going to do to fix the situation....

i love being right all the time. as i have stated many times, most of these complaints have been from trolls and apple haters. ;)

Solution is in store fix... by returning your iPhone 4 if you're unhappy. They aren't gonna do anything else.

True, I never called because I heard how Apple made it clear to its employees to completely ignore the issue when someone complained about it. Why bother if they won't fix it?

EDIT: Oh my god, I bet their solution is "We're going to focus all our efforts on bumper production, ensuring that everyone who goes to an Apple store will have one available for purchase. Problem solved. If you don't want to use a bumper, go **** yourself. Bye bye."

I think they they are going to offer us a bumper that has been known to damage your iPhone. I'm not touching a bloody bumper again after I've been left with marks all over my phone.

"Now, even less than one is too much for us. We want to find out why. But this does put it in perspective. So I have my own pet theory. We have no proof of it, but I'm going to give it to you"

you're holding it wrong
