Pro 9.7 Cheapest Price

Anyone manage to find the Pro 9.7 at a cheaper price than Apple is selling it for? Post details below - i'm looking right now!
 
Give it a month or so. Alternately, if you've got high sales tax, you could save a pretty penny buying out of state.
 
I think I read some people were able to purchase the iPad tax free through target and if you have the redcard that's an additional 5% off. Depending on where you're from there is also B&H Photo who sells it tax free as well. If you purchase through the apple education store they take off $20.

I pre-ordered at Target.com, 5% off with my RedCard plus the day I ordered I received a 5% off coupon that was supposed to exclude Apple products but the website took it anyway. No tax was charged either for some reason. $808 for a 128GB Cellular version. (paid $15 for express shipping for 3/31 delivery)
 
None, they are all about the same

1) Out of no state no tax, $599
2) Apple education $579 but tax, which makes it more than 1)
3) cash back credit card or store card, but even at 5%, still just negates part or all of the tax if you have sales tax. About the same or more than 1)

There is no good deal yet the device isn't even out yet. Best deal if your state has sales tax is buy out of state and get rid of the tax. Here it's 6% so no local deal or store card now beats ordering out of state with no sales tax. 1) is $599, 2) is $613.74 and change, and 3) is $604.99.

I thought about Staples and my 5% credit card for office supplies and 2% ebates, but again that's a LOT of hassle to save 1% more, or about $6.

For me with 6% tax out of state no tax is cheapest, but you're only talking a few dollars either way on the 32gb WIFI at least

Does anyone have experience with Target getting (or not getting) Apple products in store on release day?
 
I am thinking about ordering from Macmall, that they also give a tax break. 594 $ is the final price when I checked.

Do you think that there will be a discount around mid-April ? or when ?

Thank you for this post. I just ordered using Target card plus 5% promo also. Tax wasn't listed on the confirmation email but I kind of expect it to be on the final invoice, so my 128 GB wifi only is showing as $675.97.

Darn, I was hoping no sales tax. The pending charge I see on my REDCard is $711, so maybe that's the total after tax. Still, I'll take that over $800.

A coupon came in the mail randomly on Saturday. Never received anything like it for as long as I've had my card.

I'm fully expecting to pay tax but for now the order shows $0 and the pending charge is just for the $808 and no tax yet so we will see.

The options mentioned here are not normal discounts and ones which are available with any device. The tax one in particular is not a discount but just a way to avoid paying tax legally.
 
The only thing I dont like about B&H is they dont say how many they are getting or if you order now if you will even get one in the first batch. No time frames etc.

and then returns would be more difficult if that came up.
 
Considering that the Air 2 was going for $100 off on BF 1.5 years ago (a month or two after release) there should be upcoming discounts. Besides, the iPP 12.9 was being sold for $150 off just last week.

This is my Case don't know about anyone else. I am on an Exclusive plan with Sprint called SERO. $30 Bucks a Month Unlimited Data.

Anyways the 32GB iPad Pro 9.7 inch is $729 (wiFI only is $599)

So I went with Sprint but $729 Ouch thankfully Sprint matched Verizon which is selling it for $529. Thats pretty cheap for a cellular LTE model.

Kinda irrelevant but I had to brag. Sprint gave me a Free Note 5 (2 year contract renewal) So I sold my iPhone 6 for $420 bucks

So I really see this as iPad Pro $529 - $420 = $109 for a new iPad Pro 9.7
 
Yea, I did the Target thing this time around as well. 5% Off, No Tax, Free shipping, and a 20$ GC towards purchase that I used came to $690.00 128GB SG WiFi.

They take the other credits toward your purchase when they charge your card. When it ships.
